Schließlich hat diese Anordnung auch den Vorteil, daß noch verhältnismäßig hohe Schallfrequenzen von den dünnen Folienstreifen in den Hohlraum hinter den mitschwingenden Teilen übertragen werden und dort geschluckt werden können. Diese Wirkung ist besonders stark, wenn hinter den mitschwingenden Teilen und den Folienstreifen noch Schallschluckstoff, z. B. in Form von Mineralfaserplatten, angeordnet ist.
