Printed circuit board feed-through capacitor The invention
deals with a disc feed-through capacitor used for printed circuit boards
suitable is.
In the course of automation, printed circuits are becoming
further areas of application opened up. The trend is towards printed circuits
also to be used at high frequencies, e.g. B. in the field of decimeter technology. It
has already been proposed, appropriately designed feed-through capacitors
for building printed circuits. However, this embodiment can still thereby
be significantly improved that one does not use a cylindrical structure of great length,
but gives the capacitor a disc shape. This increases the volume of the feed-through capacitor
reduced in size, which is particularly advantageous in the case of printed circuits.
According to the invention a feedthrough capacitor for printed
Proposed circuits that has a disc shape. A disc-shaped keramil; body>
which is designed like a pot or bowl, has an outer covering and one of these
insulated interior covering. The ceramic body is provided with holes in the metal parts
are inserted, the head ends of which are conductively connected to the one covering. These
Parts are so long that their other end goes through the printed circuit
can protrude. The disc feed-through capacitor has a central one
Drilling with a metallic inner conductor, which on both sides over the ceramic disc
protrudes. This inner conductor is conductive with the other layer of the capacitor
tied together. One end of this inner conductor is also of such a length that
it protrudes through the printed circuit board during assembly. Here
the end of this inner conductor as well as the corresponding ends of the metal parts,
which protrude through the printed circuit, be resilient, so that
after equipping the printed circuit with such a disk feed-through capacitor
this can no longer fall out of the plate. Using an exemplary embodiment
the invention is to be explained in more detail.
The drawing shows a disk lead-through capacitor according to the invention, which is already soldered into a printed circuit, in section. 1 with the insulating base or mounting plate of the printed circuit is referred to. 2 and 3 are different conductive foils of this printed circuit. The metallic inner conductor 4 of the feed-through capacitor protrudes through a central bore in the ceramic body 5 and is conductively connected at 10 to the inner lining 7, which is opposite to an outer lining 6 in order to achieve the necessary capacitance. The ceramic body contains bores towards the edge of the pane, into which nail-shaped metal parts 8 are inserted. The head 9 of these parts is soldered to the outer covering 6. The neck of the parts 8 extends through the ceramic body 5 and through the plate 1 with the applied conductive layer 2 so that it can be soldered to the printed circuit, as indicated at 12. The inner conductor 4 is also soldered at 13 to the conductive part 3 of the printed circuit.
In the exemplary embodiment, the ceramic body 5 is pot-shaped or bowl-shaped
bent over. It is thus created between the plate 1 and the inner lining 7 of the lead-through capacitor
a cavity 14. If required, the inductance effective at high frequencies
to increase the inner conductor 4, this space can be completely or partially with a permeable
Body to be filled.
The inner conductor 4 does not need, as shown in Fig. 1,
to be wiry. He can z. B. also at the end that passes through the printed circuit
protrudes, have the shape of a so-called "snap in", so that further switching elements
at 13 can be soldered on in a simple manner.
The embodiment shown in the drawing is only an example
and is in no way intended to delimit the scope of the invention.
