Description
The invention is based on the running noise of dry shavers with a vibrating cutting tool noticeably suppressed by means of rubber-elastic materials.
The use of elastic materials in dry razors is nothing new in and of itself. Until now However, such substances are either only for vibration reasons or to reduce the Working bursts have been used within the device. The way such substances are used in razors have been used, does not inadvertently lead to a really noticeable noise reduction. For example, a shaving device is known in which the drive part is elastic at some points is supported against the housing. The much larger part is completely free, as is the vast majority Part of the housing wall is free, so it can vibrate freely and generate considerable noise. at Another shaving device has the outer cutting part, the shear blade, in a few individual places Rubber stops are provided so that the movement of the inner cutting part, i.e. the knife, is in the area of whose inversions something can participate. The directly driven inner cutting part on the other hand does not have any rubber-elastic parts. Yet another shaver only has that Pan of the inner cutting part, in which the drive engages, made of rubber. The two cutting parts will not pressed against each other by this pan, but by spring-loaded pins. All of these embodiments undoubtedly give a certain attenuation of the Running noise; however, as already mentioned, this does not achieve a really noticeable improvement.
Rubber-elastic materials are also used in the dry shaver according to the invention; according to the invention, however, the directly driven cutting part, the knife, is in a carrier made of the Running noise noticeably damping rubber-elastic material taken and held.
Man kann das Ver-Tro ckenr asierger ätWhen assessing the invention, it is to be assumed that all known measures are only insignificant contribute to noise reduction. With such a dry shaver, everything that doesn't vibrate is immediately damped. If, for example, a part of the housing has only one or individual points If rubber is in contact, then this only has the consequence that vibration nodes are formed at these points, as if you open your finger presses a string. In the intermediate areas, especially at the edges, the structure vibrates. It So it is important to enclose the parts in question as completely as possible in rubber-elastic material or, if possible, to let such a material lie flat over the entire surface. You can do the ver-tro ckenr shaver

The effect the close fit of rubber-elastic parts to such oscillatable structures is clearly perceptible, if you carry out the following experiment: The device is placed on the table and switched on. It is not provided with any damping means. The noise is uncomfortably strong. As soon as you get the device loosely in the hand - the hand may act as a rubber-elastic material - the noise becomes already weaker; but if you squeeze the device firmly in your hand, the noise is quite significant back, especially the mainly disturbing higher frequencies stop.
DerAccording to the invention, the movable cutting part, the knife, in a support made of rubber-elastic Material taken and held. With this bracket, this part is stored in such a substance, so that any loose storage of parts that could lead to noise is avoided. the Setting in such a material not only prevents the edges from swinging, but also removes any Vibrations that would have nodes of vibration at the edges, the energy. In this vehicle from elastic material is best also the fixed or, since this material a certain mobility can allow the not directly driven cutting part, so the shear blade, taken and held. With a corresponding pretensioning of the carrier, there is also one to be pressed against one another the cutting parts have sufficient pressure so that there are no spring-loaded bolts that swing again might be necessary for this purpose.
