Die Vorrichtung besteht aus einem entsprechenden starken Rohrstück A, welches an einem Ende mit aufgeschraubtem Deckel, an dem anderen mit Scharnierlaschen α und daran befindlicher Schelle b versehen ist. Diese Schelle b dient zur Befestigung des Rohrstückes A an der Hinterstrebe C des Fahrradrahmens und sind das Rohrstück A und die Schelle b hierfür entsprechend geformt. Eine Flügelmutter oder dergl. dient zum Anziehen der Schelle. Das Rohr ist gegen das Gestell auf verschiedene Arten abzustutzen. In der Zeichnung ist an der unteren Seite (Gebrauchsstellung Fig. 2, 3 und 5) des Rohres A drehbar eine federnde Gabel B angeordnet, welche zur Stütze der ganzen Vorrichtung an der Hinterradgabel C₁ angreift (Fig. 2, 3 und 5). Diese Gabel B ist deshalb federnd ausgebildet, damit sie für alle Radconstructionen, z. B. mehr oder weniger breit aus einander stehender Hinterradgabeln, passend gemacht werden kann, und ferner ist die äufserste Sicherheit durch die nach aufsen .wirkende Federkraft gewährleistet, da ein Abgleiten der Gabelzähne von den Hinterradstreben C₁ ausgeschlossen ist. Bei Nichtgebrauch (Fig. 1 und 4) legt sich die federnde Gabel nach der einen Seite flach an das Rohr A an, dagegen ist die Drehbarkeit nach der anderen Seite durch eine Nase χ gehemmt.
