Description
Device for spraying horizontally movably arranged rocking shears The invention relates to a device for spraying rocking shears, those for separating molten or plastic material at high temperature serve, with a coolant and / or a lubricating liquid, the invention takes place z. B. Application in glass technology in the known shearing devices, which from the molten glass mass exiting the forehearth or mold charges split off. A device of this type consists of a pair of horizontally movable arranged shear knife, the arms of which in the working cycle of the machine in the cut-off position and are swiveled back again and thereby the emerging mold charges sever from molten glass. It is common for the scissor eaters to be in seclusion Position to cool and lubricate by mixing them with a suitable liquid sprayed. The spray nozzles are arranged in a stationary manner and guide the liquid only then to. when the scissors are in the retracted position, since they are not melted together with the scissors in the way of the escaping Glass can be guided. The length of time during which a spray occurs can is therefore limited. At high ejection speeds of the feed device the available spray time becomes shorter while the need for one adequate lubrication and cooling increases. With such a fast way of working However, this spraying is not sufficient, which means that the cutting effect of the scissors is inadequate is, the life of the scissor blades is shortened and an excessively large amount of spray is required.
The invention overcomes these difficulties in that one of the scissor arms actuated and thus designed driver device for the Spray nozzles are provided that their movement with part of the scissors closing path matches and comes to a standstill in the vicinity of the glass separation point.
The length of time during which the scissor blades are cooled and lubricated can be, is significantly extended without the spray nozzles with the molten material come into contact or get into the movement path of the same. The effectiveness of the cooling or lubrication is also due to a very rapid working method guaranteed without @vie wasting treatment agent in the known devices will.
In a further embodiment of the invention, means are provided about the position of the spray nozzles in relation to the scissor blades and in particular the limitation to be able to adjust the inward movement. In the drawings there is one example Embodiment of the invention shown. It shows Fig. 1 the device in plan view, with the scissors in the retracted position drawn in full Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the device, Fig. 3 is a front view of the feed device, partly cut, Fig. 4 a spray arm in side elevation, partly cut and broken, 5 shows a plan view of one of the scissor arms in the separated position and Fig. 6 is a section through line 6-6 of Fig. 4. As Fig. 3 shows, the Glass feeding device from a forehearth 10, in which from a melting and refining port molten glass flows. The forehearth is equipped with an outlet 11 through whose outlet nozzle 12 exits the molten glass at the bottom. The emerging glass gets stuck in the form of items or shaped feeds, which are held by a pair of scissors 13 can be separated. The leakage of the glass and the formation of the mold charges or the post is moved up and down in the vertical direction Piston 14 and h.ohr 15 steered, which in the usual way is synchronous with the movements the scissor blades are working.
As Fig. 1 shows, the blades 13 are carried by scissor arms 16, which are arranged on vertical pivot pins 17. The scissors are interconnected by two meshing gears 18 connected so that their oscillating movement in unison he follows. The swinging movement of the scissors from their retracted position to the disconnected position 13 a (shown in dashed lines) is carried out by arm 20, which is attached to the is articulated with one of the scissor arms connected swing arm 21. The item feeding and shearing devices are known.
The spray device consists of a spray arm 25 for each of the scissor arms 16, which can swing around the axis of the pivot 17 by a limited amount. Each arm 25 has a bearing stool or head 26. around a pivot pin 17 oscillates and to which a carrier 27 is connected by bolts 28. The bolts go through elongated holes 28a (Fig. 2), whereby a rotational adjustment of the spray arms is possible. Pipelines 29 and 30 which form part of the spray arm 25 are connected to carrier 27 by tubular connecting pieces or ear parts 31 (FIG. 4). The pipes 29 and 30 are screwed to the parts 31. On the carrier 27 is a forwardly extending arm 32 angefornit, which at its outer end a Yoke 33 carries. Recesses are provided in the yoke ends. which the pipelines 29, 30 record. The pipe parts 31 are detachable in the carrier 27 by a fastening device held (Figure 4), which consists of a rod 35 which is arranged in the carrier and seated in an annular recess 36 in tube 31. Rod 35 is made of spiral spring 37 held in one position and can be released with button 38.
Die Flüssigkeiten werden den Sprüharmen durch Rohrleitungen 44 zugeführt (Fig. 4).Each spray arm carries a spray nozzle 40 at the front end, which the Cooling and lubricating liquid 41 on the scissor blade directly below 13 sprays. The nozzle 40 is connected to a mixing chamber 42. with which pipeline 29 and 30 are related. The coolant used can be water and / or air or other coolants can be used. It can also be a suitable lubricating fluid are fed. The liquids are supplied to the spray arms through pipes 44 supplied (Fig. 4).
The spray arms 25 are moved by a respective swing arm 45, which is connected to the spray arms and swings around the pin 17 together with them. Each arm 45 is finitely connected to a link 47 by means of a pivot 46 which is articulated at 48 to a link 49. The links 49 are connected by pivot pins 50 a stationary plate 51 connected. : 'call each scissor arm is a horizontal one Carrier or plate 52 arranged to move with your Arin. Limbs 53 are connected to the plates 52 by pins 54 and to links 47 by pins 48. Each pair of links 47, 53 provides an articulated connection between the scissor arm 16 and Swing arm 45 (attached to the spray arm).
When the scissors are in the retracted position, lie the spray nozzles 40 directly above the cutting edges 13b of the scissor blades. If the The scissor arms swing inwards thanks to the articulated connection described above also the spray arms 25 on a larger part of the inward movement of the scissor arms moved inward. If the Scherrnblätter come close to the glass separation point, if the movement of the arms 25 is delayed, the spray nozzles neither with the melted Glass come into contact with the motion; the nozzles come to a standstill in the positions 40a shown in dashed lines (FIG. 1), when the scissor blades reach their severing position. That way it becomes Spray means 41 during the greater part of the period in which the knives are move and are in the retracted position, against the separating edges of the sheets 13 directed. This is an effective cooling and quick operation Lubrication of the blades is achieved without wasting liquid, as is the case with the previously known devices in which the spray nozzles are arranged in a stationary manner are, is the case.
The members 49 are preferably divided so that their length is adjusted can be. The parts are held in the adjusted position by clamping screws 56. By lengthening or shortening the members 49, the position of the spray nozzle and in particular the limitation of the inward movement set in the desired manner will.
