Process and machine for the production and deburring of injection molded parts. The present invention relates to a method and a machine for the manufacture and deburring of injection-molded pieces.
In the production of injection molded parts by pressing the heated material into the recesses or depressions of molded parts that can move relative to one another, it is common to provide a cast part on the cast part which then has to be removed from the cast part in some way.
In addition, it has always been necessary to remove the burr that occurs along the joints between the molded parts in a further operation. The aim of the invention is to perform all of these operations in a single operation. This significantly reduces the manufacturing costs of the items in question.
According to the present method, the casting is attached to a support member protruding into a recess between the mold halves by means of its pouring part during casting, whereupon the casting is removed from the mold and brought between trimming tools and deburred by means of this member and then the said member is again in:
the mold recess is brought to receive the next casting.
In the accompanying drawing, an example embodiment of the Ma machine according to the invention is shown. The method itself is also explained, for example, on the basis of these.
It shows: FIG. 1 in a diagrammatic representation schematically and partially the injection molding machine, FIG. 2 a plan view of part of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 a detail in section along the line 3-3 of FIG. 2, FIG a cross section along the line 4-4 of FIG. 2, FIG. 5 a cross section along the line 5-5 of FIG. 2,
6 shows a cross section along the line 6-6 in FIGS. 4 and 7. Diagram of the deburred workpiece with the burr separated from it.
In Fig. 1, 10 is the drive shaft of the casting machine, 11 is the spray nozzle of the pouring spout 12, which forms the extension of the common melting pot. Of course, the injection molding machine can also be designed differently instead of with a melting pot with a pouring spout.
At 13, the piston is indicated schematically, which is used to press the heated casting material under pressure into the recesses or depressions of the mold parts movable with respect to one another, indicated by the dash-dotted lines 14 and 15 in FIG. One surface of the mold 14 is shown by solid lines in FIG. 5, in which figure the nozzle 11, the pouring spout 12 and the piston 13, as used for a metal injection molding machine, are also visible.
Part of the crucible of the machine is indicated in this figure by 12a.
At 18 (Fug. 1) a camshaft is shown, which is driven directly from the drive shaft 10 via angle gears 19, 20. On the shaft 18 there is a cam disk 21 for actuating a stripping plate described later, an eccentric 22 for actuating the deburring punch and a pair of cam disks 23 and 24 for actuating valves which control the air supply to the various parts of the mechanism of the machine.
At 25 a rod is shown, which receives a back and forth movement through a cam disk 26 on the shaft 10 by the roller 27 lying on the circumference of the disk 26, a sliding plate 28 provides ver. The plate 28 has an elongated opening 28a in which a square block 28b on the shaft 10 freely passes. At the free end of the plate 28, a forked lever arm 29 is articulated, which is attached to the rod 25, so that the reciprocating movement of the plate 28 of the rod 25 shares an oscillating movement.
As a result of this movement of the rod 25, the casting 30 with the sprue part 31 is brought out of the mold 14, 15 by means of the support member 32 into the deburring tools described later. The separated pouring part 31 is then brought through the support member 32 in front of the discharge pipe 49, where it remains for some time to remove the pouring part 31 from the support pin and then move back between the mold parts 14 and 15.
The roller 27 is constantly pressed against the circumference of the cam disk 26 by a helical spring 33, which is shown in part in FIG. 1.
The member 32 is held in a tubular bearing 34 of a widened base body 35 which is coaxial with the rod 25, next to a slot 36 which is provided in the tubular extension 25a of the rod. The body 35 has a forked bearing part 37 in which an angle lever 38 is pivotably mounted. One arm 39 of the angle lever 38 protrudes through the slot 36 and is seated here between two pins 40 and 41 which are located in the tubular part of the rod (Fig. 3).
A spring 42 holds the arm 39 of the bell crank in engagement with the pin 40 and at the same time the outer end of the pin 40 in engagement with an adjustable screw 43 on an actuating lever 44, which will be described later.
In the tubular part 34 of the part 35 a slide rod 45 is arranged, the lower end of which is coupled to the other arm of the winch lever 38 at 46. A stripping plate 47, which can be displaced on the pin 32, is mounted on the upper end of the rod 45 in order to scrape the sprue 31 from the pin when the parts are in front of the mouth 48 of the discharge pipe 49. As soon as the sprue 31 is stripped from the pin 32, it is captured by a stream of air exiting the tube 50 and conveyed through the tube 49 into a container or back to the crucible of the machine.
On the part 35 an adjustable stop screw 51 is arranged, which is true to abut against the front plate 16 (Fig. 2) in order to limit the upward movement of the member 32 and so adjust this member with respect to the mold parts 14 and 15.
Another stop screw 52 is adjustable on the table 17 and limits the downward swinging movement of the link 35 for setting the casting between the shearing or trimming tools.
The lever 44 is mounted on a shaft 53 (FIGS. 2 and 3). The lever 44 BE is in one piece with a fork lever arm 54 which carries a roller 55 which cooperates with the cam plate 21 so that when the machine is working, the lever 44 moves the pin 40 in the direction against the arm 39 of the angle lever 38, to operate the same to move the pin 45 and the stripper plate 47 to scrape the sprue 31.
A yoke-shaped block 56 is also arranged on the table 17 of the machine, in which the deburring tools are arranged, one of which consists of a stem 57 which is coupled to a rigid slide rod 58, the yoke-shaped end 59 of which with the Crank end 60 of a block 61 is coupled, which is actuated by an eccentric so that the tool 57 presses the casting 30 into a deburring plate 62,
the one boundary line corresponding to the contours of all edges of the deburred casting 30, including the openings 30a and 30b in the same, be seated. This operation removes any protruding metal that protrudes along the outer edges of the cast as shown at 63 (Fig. 7) and in openings 30a and 30b as shown at 64 (Fig. 7), while at the same time the pouring part 31 is separated from the casting. becomes. Fig. 6 also shows the protruding edges or cast seams to be removed.
Within the plate 62 a back plate 65 is held, which rests on springs 66 in its foremost position. This plate can move backwards and gives in to the pressure of the stamp 57 in order to allow the protruding cast seam edges 63 to be removed. Within the plate 65 deburring tools 67 and 68 are attached, wel che for removing the projecting cast parts 64 in the openings 30a and 30b the NEN.
The front of the punch 57 is recessed at 69 and 70 which receive the removed metal and allow the punches 67 and 68 passage through the cast. When the stem 57 retreats from the plate 62, the springs 66 push the plate 62 and the casting outward and throw the latter off the plate 62 and the punches 67 and 68. At the same moment, an air stream from the pipe 71 blows the casting down onto an inclined surface 72 of the table 17 or of the block 56 of the same, from where it falls into a container 7 3.
At the same time, the trimmed metal is removed from the deburring tools. During the deburring, the sprue 31 remains on the pin 32 and is then stripped and ejected in the manner described above.
The cam disk shaft 18 is housed in bearing 74 (Fig. 2), which are omitted in the schematic view of FIG. On one side of the bearing housing 74, following the cam disks 23, 24, a valve housing 75 is provided with valves 76 and 77 arranged in the same. Each valve carries a role 78 respectively. 79, respectively on the circumference of the cam disk 23. 24 runs, with springs always pressing the rollers against the cam disks.
The housing 75 is provided with a supply pipe 80 (Fig. 1) for compressed air from a suitable source and the valves are arranged so that, when actuated, air passes through the valve 76 into a conduit 81 and through the valve 77 into a line 82 can arrive. The air from the line 81 flows to the piston 13, which controls the delivery of the casting material into the mold.
This valve is designed in such a way that it allows the pressure to be released through an outlet 83 (FIG. 2) when the work of the piston 31 is finished. Such a blow-off is not required for the line 82 since this line leads to a manifold 84 to open outlets. From this manifold, compressed air is passed through pipes 50, 71 and 85. The line 85 leads into a lubricant container 86, from which the lubricant flows off through a pipe 87.
The nozzle end 88 of the line 87 is arranged at the parting line of the mold halves 14 and 15, so that a fine jet of oil can be sprayed onto the surface of the recesses or recesses of the mold to get the same at any time in a pure state. The amount of lubricant that is sprayed onto the molds in this way is adjustable by means of an adjustable needle valve 86a on the lubricant container.
The timing of blowing through the outlet tubes 50, 71 and 85 is set to occur when the sprue 31 is stripped from the member 32. At this moment the tools 57 and 62, like the mold halves 14 and 15, are separated from one another. The casting 30 falls under the action of gravity on the inclined surface 72 and the trimmed material is removed by the air flow. This air flow also conveys castings 30 that have remained lying on the inclined surface 72 into the container 73.
The punch 57 is connected to the slide rod 58 in a releasable and adjustable manner by means of screws 89. The screws 89 are fastened in a flange 58a of the rod 58 and pass through expanded openings 90 in the flange part 57a of the tool 57, as shown in FIG. This training gestat tet a correct alignment of the tool 57 with the openings in the plate 62. The pin 32 is adjustable in part 34 by the nut 32cc (Fig. 5) so that the upper ver younger and conveniently square end in the recess of the Shape lies.
This four-edged end of the link 32 not only holds the casting in place on the link 32, but also in the correct position with respect to the deburring tools.
The pouring part 31 has a wide flange 31a which surrounds the pin 32 so that the attack of the stripping plate 47 with the same facilitates and the ejection of the pouring part is ensured without the stripping plate having to fit exactly on the pin 32.
It is clear that the invention is not limited to the formation of castings of a particular shape or particular outline. Two castings can be produced at the same time in the recesses or depressions of the mold and deburred using suitable tools.
When the moldings are closed and tight. are held in this position, casting material is injected into the mold recess to form the casting 30 and the cast part 31. The material is pressed into the mold by actuating the piston 13, which is controlled by means of the valve 76 and opening and closing it is effected by the cam plate 23.
The sprue part 31 is held wide enough to allow a free flow and wide distribution of the casting material, which results in the actual injection-molded part, to the parts of the recess or depression of the mold.
Immediately after the casting has been formed, the mold halves 14 and 15 are opened and the member 32 is moved forwards and downwards to close the casting 30 and the pouring part 31 in alignment with the trimming tools 57, 62, 67 and 68 bring. This operation is effected by the cam disk 26 and the slide plate 28, which the rod 25 on which the member 32 is attached by means of the block 35, given a swinging motion.
The casting 30 and the sprue 31 are in the lowest position, as shown in dashed lines in Fig. 5, to back while the punch 57 moves towards the plate 62 for the purpose of deburring the casting 30. The sprue remains on the Pin 32, but the casting 30 is cut from the same in the deburring process and falls onto the surface 72 and then, as mentioned above, into the container 73.
Immediately after this Ent burr the member 32 is in the middle stel ment, which is shown in Fig. 5 in dashed lines, lifted, where it is located in front of the enlarged mouthpiece 48 of the tube 49 and the blowpipe 50. While temporarily held in this position by the cam 26, the stripper plate 47 strips the sprue 31 from the member 32, and at that moment air is blown out of the pipe 50, the control of the air by the valve 77, be actuated by the cam disk 24.
At the same time, air is also blown out of the pipe 71 and lubricant from the nozzle 88 at the end of the pipe 87, since all these activities are controlled by the one valve 77 operated by means of the cam disk 24. The jet of lubricant cleans the adjacent surfaces of the mold 14, 15, which are then in the open position. The air flow out of the tube 71 removes the trimmed particles of the casting from the deburring tools and supports the discharge of the deburred casting into the container 73.
Immediately after the sprue 31 was stripped from the member 32, the same returns to the position shown in solid lines in FIG. 5 and the mold is closed and the process is repeated.
From the foregoing, it follows that a casting is injected, deburred and dispensed in every work step of the machine. The stripped from member 32 A casting is a container or through the pipe 94 z. B. the crucible 12a to out. It will be understood that the invention can be used with various types of injection molding machines, regardless of the particular manner in which the molding material is injected into the molds.
