Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betrieb einer Kolbenbrennkraftmaschine mit Kraftstoffeinspritzung, insbesondere Kraftstoffeindirekteinspritzung, mit je Zylinder jeweils wenigstens einem Auslaßventil, das mit einer Abgasanlage in Verbindung steht, und wenigstens einem Einlaßventil, das mit einer Lufteinlaßanlage in Verbindung steht, und mit Mitteln zur Erhöhung des Ladedrucks in der Lufteinlaßanlage, das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß eine Steuereinrichtung zur variablen Einstellung zumindest der Öffnungszeitpunkte der Einlaßventile vorgesehen ist und daß im unteren Drehzahlbereich über die Steuereinrichtung die Einlaß-Öffnet-Zeitpunkte der Einlaßventile so gestellt werden, daß eine Ventilüberschneidung mit dem Schließzeitpunkt der zugehörigen Auslaßventile gegeben ist und so der Zylinder vor dem Ladungswechsel im Bereich des oberen Totpunktes mit frischer Ladeluft gespült wird.
