Abstract

The plant to generate a biogas from a biomass has a fermenter with a container fitted with an inlet and an outlet for the biomass. A dividing wall (22), with an opening (28) and a thermal insulation layer (82), is between the inlet and outlet in the container, to divide it into a reception zone (24) and a discharge zone (26). Heaters in the discharge zone give it a higher temperature (T2) than the temperature level (T1) in the leading zone. Preferred Features: The higher temperature is at 65-95[deg]C, and preferably 70-80[deg]C. The heating uses heat exchangers to heat a wall inner surface (93), using channels (92) within the container wall (90).
