Die Erfindung eignet sich insbesondere für Fahrzeugsitze mit zahlreichen Zusatzeinstellungen und Zusatzfunktionen, beispielsweise die Einstellung von Seitenwangen, Lordosenstützen oder Oberschenkelunterstützungen, wobei die Haupteinstellmöglichkeiten, wie Sitzlängsposition, Sitzhöhe und Lehnenneigung gesondert betätigt werden. Es ist aber genauso möglich, daß alle Einstellmöglichkeiten und Funktionen von der erfindungsgemäßen Bedieneinheit angesteuert oder ausgelöst werden.
