Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung zur Entwässerung einer Faserstoffbahn, insbesondere Papier- oder Kartonbahn, umfasst eine Entwässerungszone, durch die die Faserstoffbahn zusammen mit einer Membran hindurchgeführt und in der die Faserstoffbahn durch die Membran hindurch mit Verdrängungsgas beaufschlagbar ist. Die Faserstoffbahn und die Membran sind in der Entwässerungszone über eine vorzugsweise konvexe Stützfläche geführt, wobei die Faserstoffbahn durch die auf der der Stützfläche zugewandten Bahnseite liegende Membran hindurch von der Stützfläche her mit Verdrängungsgas beaufschlagbar ist.
