Ein ein geringes Gewicht aufweisender Träger zur Aufnahme von Lasten und deren Übertragung auf Aufleger, insbesondere zur Aufnahme von Stützkräften in Längsrichtung und/oder zum Stützen von Wänden, Fußböden oder Dächern von Fenster-, Tür- oder anderen Öffnungen in Wänden von Gebäuden, Häusern oder sonstigen Bauwerken, wird erfindungsgemäß geschaffen durch ein Hohlkammerprofilteil (17), in dessen von einer Umwandung (19) gebildeten Innenraum (21) ein Innenprofilteil (23) anordenbar ist, welches mit der Innenwandung (31) des Innenraumes (21) in feste Verbindung bringbar ist.
