Anzahl und Ausgestaltung (Formgebung) der aneinandergrenzenden Kammern des Formteils können nach Maßgabe der gewünschten bzw. geforderten Steifigkeit und/oder Festigkeit der Trennwand abhängig von der Höhe und der Dicke der Trennwand beliebig vorgegeben werden, insbesondere weist das Formteil mindestens vier aneinandergrenzende Kammern auf. Mit der Trägerstruktur der Karosserie des Kraftfahrzeugs, insbesondere mit mindestens einem korrespondierenden, ebenfalls aus Aluminium bestehenden Trägerelement der Trägerstruktur, kann die Trennwand durch Schweißen oder/und Nieten oder/und Schrauben verbunden werden, d.h. das Formteil wird mit mindestens einem Trägerelement der Trägerstruktur des Kraftfahrzeugs vernietet oder/und verschweißt oder/und verschraubt, vorzugsweise mit mehreren Trägerelementen der Trägerstruktur.
