Derartige Kassetten wurden bisher in Verbindung mit spulenlosen Filmwickeln oder in Verbindung mit handelsüblichen Tageslichtspulen verwendet. Die spulenlosen Filmwickel ergeben den Vorteil, daß der Abstand der Wickelachsen nur geringfügig größer gehalten zu werden braucht als der halbe Durchmesser eines vollen Filmwickels. Dadurch können die Abmessungen des Wickelraumes und damit auch der gesamten Kassette verhältnismäßig klein gehalten werden. Derartige Kassetten haben aber den Nachteil, daß sie nur in der Dunkelkammer geladen werden können. Diesen Nachteil vermeidet man durch Verwendung handelsüblicher Tageslichtspulen, die jedoch in nachteiliger Weise einen größeren Wickelraum beanspruchen, da der Abstand der beiden Wickelachsen größer sein muß als der volle Durchmesser einer Tageslichtspule.Such cartridges have heretofore been used in connection with reelless film winding or in connection with commercial daylight coils are used.
