Description
Process for generating ozone The known ozone devices are used throughout operated with alternating current higher frequency of about 500 to 10,000 Hz, so that always an expensive frequency converter is necessary. The high frequency is for considered necessary to achieve technically sufficient current densities.
It is known as a dielectric stabilization layer instead of glass ceramic materials containing Ti 02 should be used, as these materials form the Ozone is less decomposed than when using glass, its dielectric properties sufficient in itself. The fact that ceramic, Ti 02 containing substances a have even higher dielectric constant, was used in this context for Achieving less ozone decomposition is viewed as less important.
The invention relates to such a method of production of ozone with the help of alternating current with the use of stabilizing layers made of ceramic materials containing Ti 02 with high dielectric constants and suggests that the ozonizer can be connected directly to a Mains frequency of about 50 Hz is connected. The invention lies in the knowledge based on the fact that when using ceramic materials containing Ti 02 their high DK is very important in that there is a sufficient current density with much lower frequencies, namely even with mains frequency, can be achieved. In the case of small ozonizing devices in particular, the previously always present one meant Frequency converter is a not insignificant cost item, which is now no longer applicable. With the need for frequency conversion had previously been accepted.
It has been found that when using ceramic, Ti 02 containing Substances that are relatively cheap and also a very small one. Loss angle have received a current density with a DC of 80 and connection to the mains frequency which was previously only achievable with frequency conversion.
Also ceramics containing titanate, such as Ba, Zn and Sr titanate Bodies are useful, especially when they are reduced to an acceptable value Have loss angle.
