Dieser Knopfverschlufs besteht aus einer Metallhülse mit Unterplatte, welche durch die Knopflöcher
durchgesteckt, und auf welcher mittelst eines eigenthümlichen Mechanismus der Knopf

A ist die mit der Unterplatte B versehene Metallhülse. Dieselbe ist mit einer durchgehenden
Bohrung oder nur mit einer Vertiefung im oberen Ende versehen. An dem oberen Ende
ist die Hülse A mit einem kurzen, vorstehenden Rand C versehen. Diese Hülse wird zum Befestigen
des Knopfes von unten durch die Knopflöcher hindurchgesteckt, so dafs der obere Theil C etwas aus denselben hervorragt. Der
mit dem Befestigungsmechanismus versehene äufsere Knopf D ist folgendermafsen construirt.
An der äufseren Knopfplatte P ist die Metallplatte E befestigt. Dieselbe trägt in der Mitte
einen konischen Stift R, welcher in die Vertiefung oder Durchbohrung von A hineinpafst;
um R herum ist eine Vertiefung in E hergestellt, in welche der Rand C der Hülse A pafst.
An der unteren Seite der Platte E ist durch ein Scharnier die Platte H drehbar befestigt,
welche auf der dem Scharnier entgegengesetzten Seite einen Ausschnitt hat, mit Hülfe dessen
die Platte H in offener Stellung, Fig. 1 und ,3,
über die Hülse A unterhalb des Randes C geschoben werden kann. Sobald man die Knopfplatte P um das Scharnier von H niederklappt,
greift der Stift R in die Vertiefung der Hülse A ein und der Rand C in die Vertiefung von
Platte E. Die Platte H wird durch die zwischen P und H gelagerte flache Feder r niedergehalten,
