2. Beschreibung des Standes der Technik2. Description of the prior art
In U.S. Patent 6,195,835, which has the same applicant as that present application is a vacuum cleaner with a Vortex dust collection device specified.
In Figs. 1 and 2, the structure or the structure of the vacuum cleaner is schematically illustrated that includes the cyclone dust collecting apparatus according to the US Patent 6,195,835.
As shown in Fig. 1, a vacuum cleaner with a swirling dust collecting device generally has a vacuum cleaner body 1 , a suction opening or a suction connection 2 and a swirling dust collecting device 10 , which is arranged between the vacuum cleaner body 1 and an extension tube 3 , which is connected to the Suction port 2 is connected.
The vacuum cleaner body 1 has a dust collecting chamber 5 , in which a paper filter 4 is generally arranged, and a motor chamber (not shown). A lid 6 is movably attached in the upper area of the dust collecting chamber 5 so as to be pivoted into an open and closed position. The extension tube 3 is connected to a handle 7 and a flexible hose 8 . One end of the flexible hose 8 is connected to the cover 6 .
As shown in FIG. 2, a swirl dust collecting device 10 has a swirl body 20 , a dust pick-up 30 and a grid arrangement 40 . The vortex body 20 contains a first connecting pipe 21 , which is connected to a suction connection extension pipe 3 a, a second connecting pipe 22 , which is connected to the vacuum cleaner body extension pipe 3 b, an air inflow connection 23 , which is connected to the first connecting pipe 21 , and an air outflow opening 24 connected to the second connection pipe 22 . In the vortex body 20 , the air loaded with impurities is sucked in through the air inflow connection 23 and forms a swirling stream.
The dust receptacle 30 is detachably connected to the vortex body 20 and picks up the impurities which are separated from the air by the centrifugal force of the vortexing air flow or the air flow in the vortex body 20 .
The grid arrangement 40 is arranged on the air outflow connection or in the air outflow opening 24 of the vortex body 20 in order to prevent a backward flow of the collected impurities through the air outflow connection 24 . The grille assembly 40 includes a grille body 41 , a plurality of fine holes 42 formed in an outer periphery of the grille body 41 to form a passage to the air discharge port 24 , and a pollution-preventing plate 43 of a conical shape, which is the most lower end of the grid body 41 is formed.
In the normal vacuum cleaner with the swirl dust collecting device constructed as described above, the contaminated air is sucked into the swirl body 20 in a tangential direction by a suction force generated in the suction port 2 of the vacuum cleaner the first connecting pipe 21 and the air inflow port 23 are sucked in. The sucked-in air flows downward in the vortex body 20 and forms an air vortex flow (indicated by arrows on the solid line in FIG. 2). In this process, contaminants from the air are separated by the centrifugal force of the air vortex that hits the grille and collected in the dust collector 30 .
When the air flow reaches the bottom of the dust receptacle 30 , the air flows in a reverse direction, that is, it flows upward in the vortex body 20 . The air then flows through the fine holes 42 of the grid arrangement 40 , the air outflow opening 24 and the second connecting pipe 22 and is then discharged into the vacuum cleaner body 1 (which is indicated in FIG. 2 by a dashed line with an arrow). Some contaminants suspended in the upward moving air stream are returned by the contaminant preventing return plate 43 and are thus reflected in the vortex air flow. Some contaminants still entrained in the upward air flow after the contaminant-preventing plate 43 are filtered out at the fine holes 42 of the grid assembly 40 when the air flows through the fine holes 42 and the filtered contaminants fly in the air vortex.
Any remaining impurities that have not been removed even behind the fine holes 42 are discharged through the fine holes 42 and the air outlet port 24 . These remaining impurities are then filtered through a second filter, the paper filter 4 of the vacuum cleaner body 1 , while the clean air is discharged to the outside through the motor chamber (not shown) of the vacuum cleaner.
According to the normal vacuum cleaner with the swirling dust collecting device, taking into consideration that the impurities of the air loaded with impurities, which is sucked in through the suction port 2 , is filtered by the swirling dust collecting device 10 which is arranged on the extension pipe 3 , the amount the impurities that the paper filter 4 receives in the dust collecting chamber 5 is reduced. Accordingly, the useful life of the paper filter 4 is extended. Nevertheless, the paper filter 4 is a consumable, which is why the user still has to pay for the replacement of paper filters that are thrown away after use.
Furthermore, the normal vacuum cleaner with the swirl Dust collecting device on a dust collecting chamber, the one occupies considerable space of the vacuum cleaner body. Accordingly, the vacuum cleaner body becomes bulky and heavy, which for the User inconvenience.

FIG. 7 shows a detailed view of a wedge and recess arrangement of the locking mechanism according to FIG. 6.
As illustrated in Fig. 3 and 4, a vacuum cleaner according to the present invention, a vacuum cleaner body 1, a suction or intake port 2, a cyclone dust collecting apparatus 10 and a dust-collecting filter 300 on.
The vacuum cleaner body 1 has a dust collection chamber 100 at an inflow end and a motor chamber 200 at an outflow end. For ease of description, the location of the elements is described in relation to the air flow occurring in one direction or the suction force occurring in one direction. For example, the dust collection chamber 100 is located on the inflow side of the motor chamber 200 , so that the chamber 100 could be referred to as being in front of the motor chamber 200 . The dust collection chamber 100 is defined by a front wall 110 and a rear wall 120 , openings 111 and 121 being provided in the walls in question. The dust collection filter 300 is removably arranged in the dust collection chamber 100 , and a motor 400 is arranged in the motor chamber 200 . The structure of the vacuum cleaner body 1 is similar or corresponds to the structure of the conventional vacuum cleaner; However, as illustrated in FIG. 3, the vacuum cleaner body 1 according to the present invention is much smaller than the conventional vacuum cleaner (see FIG. 1) due to the reduced size of the dust collection chamber 100 . Due to the compact size of the dust collection chamber 100 , the vacuum cleaner body 1 is also compact and light in weight, and accordingly the use and handling of the vacuum cleaner is more convenient, especially for tasks that require lifting and moving the body 1 .
The suction connection or the suction opening 2 is connected to the vacuum cleaner body 1 . The extension tube 3 is connected to a handle 7 and a flexible hose 8 . One end of the flexible hose 8 is connected to an opening 111 in a wall 110 of the vacuum cleaner body 1 . When the motor 400 is in operation, a strong suction air flow is generated in the cleaning head or suction connection 2 through the flexible hose 8 and the extension tube 3 .
As described in the description of the related art earlier, the swirling dust collecting device 10 is arranged next to the extension pipe 3 , and the impurities in the air laden with contaminants are sucked into the suction port 2 and first filtered out in the swirling dust collecting device 10 . The construction and operation of the swirl dust collector 10 is similar to that of the conventional swirl dust collector.
In the vacuum cleaner body 1 , a removable dust collecting filter 300 is disposed in the dust collecting chamber 100 to separate and collect any contaminants that are not separated and collected by the swirling dust collecting device 10 . In accordance with the present invention, a reusable cassette type dust collector filter 300 is advantageous in that after removing the collected contaminants, the filter 300 can be cleaned and returned to its position in the dust collector chamber 100 for reuse.
As illustrated in FIGS . 4 through 7, the dust collection cartridge filter 300 has a filter housing 310 , a filter cover 320 and a handle 330 . The filter housing 310 has a filter 311 on its outflow side and a dust collecting space 312 in front of the filter 311 . In other words, the filter 311 is attached to the rear wall of the dust collecting pipe 312 . A filter cover 320 is articulated to the filter housing 310 by means of a joint 321 in order to pivot between an open or closed position relative to the dust collection space 312 of the filter housing 310 . In the closed position, the cover 320 covers the space 312 and runs largely parallel to the filter 311 and on its inflow side. The cassette filter 300 is configured to be inserted into the dust collection chamber 100 with the cover 320 in the closed position. The filter cover 320 has an inlet opening 322 that is aligned with and communicates with the opening 111 in the front wall 110 of the dust collection chamber 100 when the cassette filter 300 is arranged in its working position. Accordingly, after the air is exhausted from the swirling dust collecting device 10 , the air flows into the dust collecting space 312 of the dust collecting filter 300 through the opening 110 and the inlet opening 322 , any remaining impurities being filtered out by the filter 311 , and the resulting clean air becomes The outside of the vacuum cleaner body 1 is discharged through the motor chamber 200 . The filter cover 320 may also include a viewing window 323 through which the user can check the amount of contaminants collected in the dust collection space 312 .
The cassette filter 300 has a handle 330 which is movably supported on both sides of the filter cover 320 in a pivotable manner. The handle 330 can be pivoted between an assembly position when the dust collection filter 300 is installed in or removed from the dust collection chamber 100 and a locked working position when the cassette filter 300 is installed in the dust collection chamber 100 .
To enable reuse of the cassette filter after washing, the attachment and removal of the dust collection filter 300 must be convenient while ensuring that the dust collection filter 300 remains in place when it is installed in the dust collection chamber 100 in its working position. To achieve this, the vacuum cleaner according to the present invention has a locking mechanism 500 which not only enables the dust collecting filter 300 to be easily removed, but which also locks the dust collecting filter 300 securely in the working or operating position in the dust collecting chamber 100 .
As best seen in FIGS. 6-7, the locking mechanism 500 has guide grooves 510 formed along opposite side walls of the dust collector body 100 , semi-cylindrical key recesses 520 formed at the distal ends of the guide grooves 510 , and matching semi-cylindrical keys 530 formed on opposite sides of the handle 330 . The wedges 530 are configured to be received in the recesses 520 by the grooves 510 when the cassette filter 300 is inserted into the body 1 . In order to mount the cartridge filter 300, the handle of the dust collection filter positioned 330 300 in an upright manner so that the semi-cylindrical keys are introduced 530 of the handle 330 in the guide grooves 510 of the dust collecting chamber 100, whereby the wedges are positioned in the longitudinal direction in the grooves 510, 530 , When the cassette filter 300 is fully inserted, the keys 530 would have reached the key recesses 520 at the end of the grooves 510 . The wedge recesses 520 are shaped so that the wedges 530 are allowed to be rotated or pivoted through 90 ° into a transverse position.
In order to lock the cassette filter in place, the handle 330 is pivoted in such a way that the semi-cylindrical wedges 530 are rotated by 90 °, so that at least a part of the diametrically opposite surfaces of the wedges 530 abuts at least a region of the walls of the wedge recesses. In order to remove the dust collection filter 300 from the dust collection chamber 100 when the handle 330 is pivoted back into an upright position, the semi-cylindrical wedges 530 are rotated so that any contact walls of the wedge recesses 520 are released, whereby the wedges are unlocked and movement in the grooves 510 is made possible. Accordingly, the dust collection filter 300 can be removed from the chamber 100 .
It should be apparent that the locking mechanism in a variety of structures or arrangements and Configurations can be embodied. Any structure that providing matching elements that are relative can be moved towards each other to form a detachable arrangement or Configuration in a first position and a locked one Arrangement or configuration in a second position can provide for or as a locking mechanism be used. Guide grooves or the like can be provided for the assembly and locking operation to facilitate.
Although this invention was developed in the context of a vacuum cleaner Canister type with a swirl dust collector has been described, the filter cartridge of the present Invention not limited to this environment. The filter cartridge according to the invention could in a variety of Cleaning devices, including upright ones Vacuum cleaners, wet vacuum cleaners and the like are used become. The filter cartridge could also act as the sole filter serve for a vacuum cleaner or a vacuum and is not necessarily limited to being a second filter to act on the outflow side of a vortex Dust collecting device is provided, just as this is described.
In operation, a negative pressure generated in the dust collection chamber 100 when the motor 400 of the vacuum cleaner according to the present invention is running causes a strong suction force in the suction connection 2 of the vacuum cleaner through the hose 8 and the extension tube 3 . As a result, air laden with impurities is sucked into the swirling dust collecting device 10 through the suction port 2 . First, the air laden with impurities is sucked into the vertebral body 20 in a tangential direction through the first connecting pipe 21 and the inflow connection 23 and forms an air vortex flow moving downward towards the dust pickup 30 . The centrifugal force of the vortex air or the air vortex separates the contaminants from the air, and the separated contaminants are taken up in the dust receptacle 30 .
When the air flow reaches the bottom of the dust pickup 30 , the contaminated air is discharged to the vacuum cleaner body 1 through the fine holes 42 of the grille assembly 40 , the outflow port 24, and the second connection pipe 22 . At this time, some contaminants floating in the air moving upward are reflected in the dust pickup 30 against the dust-reversing plate 43 in the eddy current. The impurities still remaining in the upward moving air behind the plate 43 preventing dust reversal are entrained in or through the air and thus removed in the air through the fine holes 42 of the grating arrangement 40 . At this time, any impurities which are larger are filtered out as the fine holes 42, to the fine holes 42, and accordingly, the filtered impurities are recycled into the Wirbelungsluft.
Meanwhile, any contaminants still entrained in the air even after passing through the fine holes 42 are removed from the outflow port 24 through the fine holes 42 of the grille assembly 40 and filtered in a second filter in the vacuum cleaner body. A reusable dust collection filter 300 is installed in the dust collection chamber 100 of the vacuum cleaner body 1 for this purpose. The resulting clean air, after being filtered by the second filter, is discharged to the outside of the vacuum cleaner through the motor chamber 200 .
When the dust collecting filter 300 fills up, it can be removed from the dust collecting chamber 100 ; the contaminants can be removed by washing, shaking or otherwise or by other means, and the filter in question can be returned to the dust collection chamber 100 . The user can also monitor the amount of contaminants collected in the dust collection filter 300 through the viewing window 323 .
As described above, according to the present invention, considering that the reusable cassette-type dust collecting filter 300 is used, there is no need for a single-use filter, such as paper filters, that must be discarded. As a result, the cost of maintaining the vacuum cleaner can be greatly reduced. Since nothing is thrown away, the use of the vacuum cleaner according to the invention also has a positive environmental impact. Moreover, according to the present invention, the size of the dust collecting chamber 100 of the vacuum cleaner body 1 is reduced because the reusable dust collecting filter 300 can be made smaller than a paper filter or bag. As a result, the vacuum cleaner body can be more compact in size and lighter in weight, making the vacuum cleaner easier to use and handle.
Although the preferred embodiment of the present Invention has been described, is likely for one It will be apparent to one of ordinary skill in the art that the present invention is based on the preferred embodiment described is not limited should be, but that various changes and Modifications within the nature and scope of protection present invention can be made, as by the attached claims is determined.
