Abstract

The invention relates to a substructure module for enlarging a table (1), the substructure module having an extendable worktop (3) which is attached under the tabletop (2) of the table (1) by means of guide rails (4) and on the worktop (3 ) a pull-out drawer (9) is attached.

Description

The invention deals with a substructure module for enlarging a table with a worktop and a drawer.

There are a variety of designs of enlargeable tables with extension plates known. The extension plates are usually located below the table top and are pulled out of the table frame using pull strips.

Such a design allows for a drawer in the front of the table that can only be used when the extension plate is not extended.

Many modern tables do not have a frame or pull-out top that could be used to further increase the table surface. There are also no drawers provided for tables without frames.

It is the object of the invention to propose a substructure module for a table without a frame, the table surface of which can thus be further enlarged and which also provides an additional drawer.

The task is solved using the means of claim 1.

Refinements of the substructure module are shown in the subclaims.

The substructure module for enlarging a table is characterized by the fact that it has a pull-out worktop that is attached under the table top of a table using guide rails and that a pull-out drawer is attached to the worktop.

The advantage here is that the surface of the worktop can be made of a different material than the surface of the table top. The worktop can be designed for a special purpose, e.g. “scratch-resistant”.

In 1 an oblique view of a table 1 with an inserted worktop 3 and an inserted drawer 9 is shown. The table 1 stands on its legs 7 and has no frame. The worktop 3 is attached to the underside of the table top 2 via the guide rails 4. These guide rails 4 engage in a groove in the worktop 3, which can be pulled out over it.

Rebated guide strips 5, which are attached under the worktop 3, engage in a groove in the drawer frame 6. This allows the drawer 9 to be pulled out from under the worktop 3, regardless of the position of the worktop 3. A recessed grip 16 allows the worktop 3 to be pulled out supports. A panel 8, which forms a drawer front and also covers the guide elements, is shown here in dashed lines.

3 shows a section through a substructure module with a mounting plate 10, which can be screwed under a table top using the screws 15.

On the side of the mounting plate 10 there are the guide brackets 11, on which the worktop 3 is guided in an extendable manner by means of telescopic rails 12 and its telescopic rail holder 13. The drawer frames 6 of the drawer 9 are guided on the telescopic rail holders 13 by means of telescopic rails 12. Thanks to the respective telescopic rails 12, the worktop 3 and the drawer 9 can be pulled out independently of one another.

The design presented here allows an assembled substructure module to be easily transported, which no longer needs to be assembled when installed under a table.

In this construction of the substructure module, edge strips 14 are also provided on the worktop 3. These are advantageous if documents are to remain on the worktop 3 even when inserted, which are to be used for later processing. Thanks to the edge strips, these do not get into the guide of the worktop 3.

Substructure module for enlarging a table (1), characterized in that the substructure module has an extendable worktop (3) which is attached by means of guide rails (4) under the tabletop (2) of the table (1) and that on the worktop (3) a pull-out drawer (9) is attached. Substructure module Claim 1 , characterized in that the surface of the worktop (3) is designed differently than the surface of the table top (2). Substructure module Claim 1 , characterized in that the drawer (9) is attached below the worktop (3) via a rebated guide bar (5) or a telescopic rail (12) and can be pulled out regardless of the position of the worktop (3). Substructure module Claim 1 , characterized in that the guide rail (4) is a metal profile strip, the angular side of which engages in a lateral groove in the worktop (3). Substructure module Claim 1 , characterized in that the drawer (9) with its drawer frame (7) is guided on rebated guide strips (5) which are attached under the worktop (3). Substructure module Claim 5 , characterized in that a front of the drawer (9) forms a panel (8) which is as wide as the worktop.
