Abstract

The invention relates to a TV unit for a vehicle, which is arranged in the rear area of the vehicle.

From the DE 10 2014 014 830 A1 a partition device for an interior of a motor vehicle is known, which has at least one partition. This partition can be moved between at least one separating position dividing the interior at least partially in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle into a front section and a rear section and a non-use position, with at least one section of the partition being designed as a display.

The object of the invention is to specify a TV unit for a vehicle which allows the user in the vehicle to have an extensive “entertainment/infotainment feeling”.

The invention results from the features of the independent claims. Advantageous developments and refinements are the subject matter of the dependent claims. Further features, application possibilities and advantages of the invention result from the following description and the explanation of exemplary embodiments of the invention, which are shown in the figure.

The initially explained TV unit for a vehicle, which is arranged in the rear area of the vehicle, extends at least partially over the width of the vehicle and can be variably positioned in the rear area. This has the advantage that the vehicle occupants in the rear area can experience a comprehensive entertainment/infotainment TV experience when using the TV unit designed as a "hyperscreen" due to the large area, with all TV functions being available for use . The positioning of the TV unit on the vehicle's headliner allows the vehicle occupants to experience the TV experience while lying down, which increases the comfort for the vehicle occupants in the rear area.
