Colors are used as a visual aid on sheet music for various reasons.

Based on the aforementioned variants of sheet music and methods for their use, the object of the present invention is to provide a sheet music which is specifically tailored to learning the fingering sequence of string instruments in fifth intervals

This task is solved by a sheet of music with the features of claim 1 and by a method for producing it with the features of claim 7.

The sheet music according to the invention is intended for stringed instruments that are tuned in fifths.

In a manner known per se, it comprises at least one staff with at least five juxtaposed staff lines and notes that are arranged in the staff.

According to the invention, in order to visualize a string of the stringed instrument, every second line of the staff is highlighted as an orientation aid.

The highlighting can be done by color-coding the respective staff line. It can only be highlighted in one color.

In a short introductory phase 1, the students first practice reading three note positions to which three fingerings are assigned. The note below the line represents the open string (0), the note on the line represents the 1st finger (1), and the note above the line represents the 2nd finger (2). The reading aid summarizes the same things and reduces the various note positions to three easy-to-remember positions. With the colored markings, it makes the repetitions of the fingering visible. It can be combined with any method and any music book.

With the music sheet according to the invention, beginners' notes of all kinds can be provided with these colored lines (and possibly a short introduction to their use). This type of reading aid is not tied to any repertoire. It is intended for the initial phase of learning.

The principle can also be applied to other instruments that are tuned in fifths, such as a viola and like 5 is explained.
