Description

A motor vehicle floor of a motor vehicle interior and a motor vehicle are described.

Motor vehicle floors of motor vehicle interiors and motor vehicles of the type mentioned are known in the prior art.

Motor vehicles are used by different users in different situations for different purposes. It is therefore a goal of vehicle manufacturers to optimize motor vehicles for these diverse application scenarios. This includes the desire to create interior spaces that are as flat as possible, especially in larger motor vehicles and electric vehicles. This achieves a larger usable space and variety of uses.

Larger motor vehicles such as large-capacity vehicles or off-road vehicles and electric vehicles often have more foot space than smaller motor vehicles and are equipped with a step for more comfortable entry. Such a step is arranged in some vehicles outside the motor vehicle, in others inside the motor vehicle, so that the step is part of the motor vehicle interior when the door is closed.

From the DE 10 2005 043 490 A1 a motor vehicle, in particular a passenger car, is known with a trunk accessible via a trunk door, the trunk extending away from the trunk door in a horizontal direction into the motor vehicle and the trunk having a two-part, flat loading floor.

The task therefore arises of further developing motor vehicle floors of motor vehicle interiors and motor vehicles of the type mentioned at the outset such that the motor vehicles can be used in a variety of ways and have more storage space than conventional motor vehicle floors and motor vehicles.

The object is achieved by a motor vehicle floor of a motor vehicle interior according to claim 1 and a motor vehicle according to the independent claim 7. Further refinements and developments are the subject matter of the dependent claims.

A motor vehicle floor of a motor vehicle interior is described, the motor vehicle interior forming a footwell with a first floor part, an entry area with a step being provided, the footwell having a second floor part, the second floor part being arranged in the step, the second floor part and the first floor part smoothly merge into each other.

In this way, the vehicle floor can be increased, which increases the usability. Due to the fact that the first floor part and the second floor part merge smoothly into one another, the motor vehicle floor will be enlarged in one plane. This creates additional storage space and improves usability through a larger, consistently level vehicle floor.

In a first further development it can be provided that the second floor part is an upper side of an insert in the step.

A corresponding insert can represent an option in a configuration and thus increases the flexibility in the selection of the equipment.

In a further further development it can be provided that the insert is removable.

This increases the variability. When transporting people, for example, the insert can be removed to make it easier for people to get in and out.

In a further refinement, provision can be made for the insert to have at least one compartment which is open towards a motor vehicle door.

In this way, the storage space can be increased.

In a further refinement, it can be provided that the at least one open compartment can be closed with a flap.

In this way, when the vehicle door is open, objects stored in the compartment can be prevented from falling out

In a further refinement, it can be provided that the insert consists of wood, plastic and/or metal.

Such inserts can be designed to be lightweight and inexpensive to produce.

Another independent subject relates to a motor vehicle with at least one motor vehicle interior of the type described above, the motor vehicle having a motor vehicle interior with a footwell, the footwell forming a first floor part, and an entry area with a step being provided.

In a first further development, it can be provided that a cabinet structure is provided in the motor vehicle interior, which stands in the footwell and which at least partially overlaps the second floor part.

In this way, the cabinet structure can be enlarged and partially protrude into the entry area.

The motor vehicle 4 has a footwell 6 which is formed from a first floor part 8 and a second floor part 10 . The first floor part 8 and the second floor part 10 are stepless and level, so that the footwell 6 is level at least around an entry area 12 .

First floor part 8 and/or second floor part 10 can be covered with a floor material, for example a carpet, a rubber floor or a smooth floor made of, for example, PVC, plastic or wood.

In the entry area 12, a step 14 is provided, in which an insert 16 is inserted with a precise fit. The insert 16 forms the second base part 10 on an upper side.

The insert 16 has laterally open compartments 18 that can be used as storage space. In some embodiments, one or more flaps may be provided to close compartments 18 .

In the present case, the insert 16 is made of wood and is inserted into the step 14 with a precise fit.

The insert 16 is secured against falling out by means of non-visible, detachable fastening means, for example by means of locking projections and corresponding locking recesses on the insert 16 and step 14.

A cabinet 22 is provided on the insert 16 next to a vehicle seat 20 , which rests partly on the first base part 8 and partly on the second base part 10 of the insert 16 .

As in 4 can be seen, the insert 16 is on the interior side of a closed vehicle door 24, thus forming part of the motor vehicle interior 2.
