Abstract

Description

The present invention relates to an access control and/or hygiene system for controlling access to an area with restricted access, as well as an entrance system and/or access control system.

Access control and/or hygiene systems are already known from the prior art.

In connection with combating and dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, numerous regulations on hygiene and distance as well as contact restrictions have been issued. Access to certain areas, especially in buildings, has also been subject to restrictions. For example, the authorities may only grant access to certain groups of people, hygiene concepts (e.g. disinfectant dispensers for hand disinfection, gloves or the like) must be drawn up and implemented. The maximum number of people in certain areas is also regulated to ensure minimum distances between people. Health certificates such as proof of vaccinations, test proofs or proof of recovery should also ensure that only people who are not contagious and therefore (at least in theory) cannot be virus carriers or carriers have access to certain areas, especially areas where several people meet can. Since operators of areas with restricted access have now also received the obligation to check the health certificates of those seeking access as a further condition, there is a need for a technical solution that enables a pragmatic, simple and legally secure implementation of the legal regulations or official specifications.

It is therefore the object of the present invention to develop an access control and/or hygiene system for controlling access to an area with restricted access in an advantageous manner, in particular to the effect that the access restrictions in terms of hygiene regulations, hygiene concepts, the examination of health certificates such as a vaccination certificate or a Proof of recovery or test certificate can be checked and complied with.

The invention is based on the basic idea that, in connection with the specifications for combating the spread of infectious diseases, the health status of those seeking access must also be checked in addition to the implementation of hygiene concepts. This means that not only the age but also health certificates such as a vaccination certificate or a certificate of recovery or a test certificate must be checked. For example, in order to implement the requirements in connection with the control and containment of the Covid-19 panderry in accordance with the legal or official requirements, it is now proposed according to the invention that all the necessary tests are combined in one system. In particular, it is now provided according to the invention that in an access control and/or hygiene system, all the necessary prerequisites for access to areas with restricted access, such as interior rooms, can be provided and checked. This includes, at least according to the rules applicable at the time of the invention, the regular provision of disinfectants, the check of age and health status. As an additional security, the body temperature is also checked, for example to identify people with a fever and thus to be able to check them separately. The area of application of the access control and/or hygiene system according to the invention is, for example, in the catering sector, in the retail sector, in the nursing and/or health sector such as retirement and nursing homes or hospitals or in the entertainment sector, in the cultural or sports sector and school facilities.

In particular, it can be provided that the health certificate is and/or includes a vaccination certificate and/or a certificate of convalescence and/or a test certificate. The health certificates can in particular be proof of vaccination or proof of recovery or test certificates in connection with the Covid 19 pandemic. In principle, however, it is also conceivable that these are health certificates in a different context.

Provision can furthermore be made for the health certificate verification unit to have at least one code scanner, in particular to have at least one barcode and/or QR code scanner. The health certificates are regularly equipped with a barcode and/or QR code. The ability for the access control and/or hygiene system to read barcodes and/or QR codes enables health certificates to be checked easily and securely.

It is also possible for the access control and/or hygiene system to have a database interface and/or an internal database. By connecting a database, a comparison with health data or data on health certificates held there is possible. It is conceivable that data on employees can be kept in a database on site. These can, for example, have separate certificates or access permits. However, alternatively or additionally, it is conceivable that there is also a connection via an interface and via a network connection or Internet connection to a central database. The authenticity of the health certificate, for example, can then be checked with the data available there.

In addition, it can be provided that the access control and/or hygiene system has a face recognition unit. Face recognition can be used, for example, to identify people and also verify and authenticate ID card data. It is conceivable, for example, to equip or even retrofit automatic passport control systems such as at airports with the elements of the access control and/or hygiene system according to the invention.

Furthermore, it is conceivable that the access control and/or hygiene system has a blocking element for blocking access to a delimited area. The blocking element can be used to deny access physically or de facto (e.g. with traffic lights, optical and acoustic signals of all kinds). It is conceivable that the blocking element only allows access when all access requirements are met, in particular when the person seeking access does not have an elevated body temperature and/or has used the disinfectant dispenser and/or can present a valid health certificate and/or the age check shows that a health certificate may not be required (e.g. for children).

In particular, it can be provided that the blocking element has a pivoting door and/or a turnstile and/or a barrier or the like. A simple and cost-effective solution for a blocking element can be provided by proven elements such as a swing door or a turnstile or a barrier, which can also block access in a proven and reliable manner and release it if the check is positive.

It is also possible for the blocking element to have a light barrier, in particular the light barrier being arranged with its light beam horizontally and/or vertically and/or at an angle. The light barrier can be used alone or in combination with other blocking elements. The light barrier can also be used to check that only one person has passed the access control and/or hygiene system when access has been granted.

Furthermore, it can be provided that the access control and/or hygiene system has a random access control generator. More precise controls can be drawn by a random number generator. It is also conceivable, for example, at airports to carry out additional tests such as drug and/or explosives tests.

In addition, it is conceivable that the access control and/or hygiene system has a lighting unit, in particular wherein the lighting unit can be actuated or actuated as a function of the time of day.

It is also possible for the lighting unit to have a traffic light functionality. The access control and/or hygiene system can be set up to identify and/or count the transport or shopping trolleys. It is conceivable, for example, that the shopping trolleys are provided with an RFID tag or another means of identification such as a barcode or QR code, so that the access control and/or hygiene system can (automatically or semi-automatically) check whether a transport trolley or shopping trolley is being carried along .

In addition, the present invention relates to an entrance system and/or access control system. Accordingly, it is provided that an entrance system and/or access control system has at least one access control and/or hygiene system as described above. Such an entrance system and/or access control system can be installed, for example, in front of a stadium or event area or exhibition center. Furthermore, as already described, it can be used in hospitals, retirement homes, schools, office buildings, etc.

It is also conceivable that part of the system can already send a query to the vehicle driver, e.g. via a (smartphone) app or other function, which, for example, indicates a multi-storey car park or car park, a car ferry, an access road to a stadium, an access road to a shopping center, head for an office building or the like. If the query is not answered, access can then be denied, for example.

It is also conceivable for the entrance system and/or access control system to have a central controller that enables all access control and/or hygiene systems of the entrance system and/or access control system to be activated. The controller can be designed in such a way that all the data come together there and can be evaluated there. It is also conceivable that the number of all persons in the restricted area can be monitored there and then all access control and/or hygiene systems can be blocked or released accordingly.
