Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verpackung (1) für ein als Grillgut bestimmtes Lebensmittel, das auf einem Drehspieß (2) gehalten ist. Für die erfindungsgemäße Verpackung (1) ist kennzeichnend, dass dieser als formstabiler wiederverwendbarer Behälter ausgebildet ist, der einen Behälter-Innenraum (3) zur Aufnahme des auf dem Drehspieß (2) gehaltenen Grillgutes und eine mittels eines Deckels (4) öffen- und verschließbare Behälteröffnung (5) aufweist, dass der Behälter-Innenraum (3) an den Außenumriss des Grillgutes formangepasst ist, und dass an gegenüberliegenden Stirnseiten des Behälters jeweils eine Durchstecköffnung (6,7) für die über das Grillgut vorstehenden Spieß-Enden (8,9) des das Grillgut durchsetzenden Drehspießes (2) vorgesehen sind.The invention relates to packaging (1) for food intended for grilling, which is held on a rotisserie spit (2). Der Döner Kebab (türkisch: „(sich) drehendes Grillfleisch“) ist eines der bekanntesten Gerichte der türkischen Küche. Ein Dönerspieß besteht üblicherweise aus einer Schichtung von jeweils 4-5 Lagen in Joghurt und Gewürzen marinierten mageren Fleisches, auf die jeweils eine Lage fetteren Fleisches folgt. Ein fertiger Dönerspieß wiegt bis zu 40 kg. Viele Restaurants und Imbissstände stellen die Grillspieße nicht selbst her, sondern beziehen sie aus industrieller Herstellung. In Deutschland gibt es mehrere 100 solcher Dönerfleisch-Produzenten, die davon derzeit mehrere 100 Tonnen täglich produzieren. Dort wird der bis zu 40 kg schwere fertige Dönerspieß für den Transport zum Restaurant oder Imbissstand mit etwa 40 Metern Folie schützend umhüllt. Claims
