Abstract

Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a clip for bags, pouches and sacks made of plastic or paper or textiles, such as linen.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Means for closing bags are known in the prior art. For example, G 68 13 586 shows a one-piece clip made of plastic that is used to hold papers together. In addition, the EP 2 444 330 A2 a clip for temporarily keeping the mouth of a bag closed.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

There are already devices on the market for closing bags, sacks, pouches, etc. These usually have a complicated structure and are therefore expensive to produce. In addition, many of the devices prove to be unwieldy to handle.

One object is therefore to provide a clip for closing the edges of a bag, sack or pouch, which is characterized by suitable handling and has a simple structure.

As a first embodiment of the invention, there is provided a clip for closing a bag, pouch and/or sack made of plastic, paper or linen, comprising: two front wings, the front wings being capable of forming a constriction and a cavity for receiving a edge of the bag, pouch and/or sack, two levers to open the bottleneck and expand the cavity, and a web around which the two levers can leverage to open the bottleneck and expand the cavity.

Exemplary embodiments are described in the dependent claims.

According to an exemplary embodiment of the invention, a clip is provided wherein the front portion of one or both wings is divergedly shaped to facilitate threading of the edge of the bag, pouch and/or sack.

According to an exemplary embodiment of the invention, a clip is made available, the constriction having a ribbing or toothing to increase friction.

The static friction of a jammed bag or pouch can be increased by corrugating and/or serrations in the constriction.

According to another embodiment of the present invention, a clip is provided, the clip including an insert for identifying the clip.

According to another embodiment of the present invention, a clip is provided, the clip providing a spacer for blocking the throat and/or keeping constant and/or increasing the pressure of the vanes in the throat.

In a further embodiment according to the invention, a clip is made available, the clip having a web on one lever and a receptacle on the other lever, the web engaging in the receptacle when the constriction is opened.

According to a further embodiment of the present invention, a clip is provided, wherein the clip is in one piece and/or wherein the clip is produced solely by bending and/or wherein the clip is produced by 3D printing and/or injection molding and/or extrusion and/or or strand extrusion.

According to a further exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a clip is made available, the clip having a recess on the lever section in order to offer a finger and/or thumb a better grip during operation.

According to a further exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a clip is made available, the clip having one or two magnets at the constriction and/or two opposing magnets being arranged at the constriction in order to increase the locking effect.

According to another embodiment of the present invention, a clip is provided, the clip having a magnet to allow storage on a board.

One idea of the invention can be seen as providing a one-piece clip that is extremely user-friendly. The user-friendliness is shown in particular by the fact that threading in a bead of a bag is easy, that a hollow space adapted to the shape is already made available, and that an opening for the hollow space is also opened by a leverage effect without great force and that a threading of the bead into the cavity is facilitated by diverging elements.

The individual features can, of course, also be combined with one another, which in some cases can also result in advantageous effects that go beyond the sum of the individual effects.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENTS

1 shows a first embodiment of a clip according to the invention, this being made in one piece. The clip can be used to temporarily close the open edge of a paper or plastic bag.

2 FIG. 6 shows the diverging shape 6 of the front area of the clip in a side view. This makes it easier to slide it over an upper edge of the bag that is preferably shaped into a bead. The clip comprises a vertical web 2 and two horizontal wing surfaces 12 connected to the web 2. Viewed in longitudinal section, the wings 12 are shaped in such a way that they first open and then narrow, forming a cavity 4 in the process. In addition, this results in a clamping point 5. In the further course, the wings 12 strive apart again, resulting in an opening 6 through which it is easier to thread an edge of a bag or a bead of a bag. 12 shows a further alternative embodiment of a clip with a web 16 which can dip into a receptacle 17. This results in a guide for the movement of the clip when opening the constriction 5. This prevents the clip from being able to deform, since this makes it impossible for the upper part of the clip to drift sideways compared to the lower part of the clip.

13 shows the web 16 with the receptacle 17. The web 16 with the receptacle 17 also acts as a spacer if the clip is deformed in such a way that the web 16 cannot dip into the receptacle 17. In this case of deformation of the clip, the web 16 pushes the legs of the receptacle 17 apart when the clip is opened.

15 shows a further inventive embodiment of a clip with a recess 19 on the lever section 7 in a longitudinal section in order to ensure a good grip during handling. In addition, the clip has one or two magnets 18 at the constriction 5 in order to enable a better locking effect of the clip. In a further alternative embodiment, the clip has a magnet 20, as a result of which the clip can be attached to a sheet of steel, for example, and can therefore be stored therewith.

In an advantageous embodiment, the lever 11 of the clip can have an indentation, a recess and/or a profile so that the user has a better grip.

In yet another embodiment, the constriction can have a profile and/or teeth, so that the edge of a bag that has been picked up can be held by the clip in a mechanically more stable manner.

The clip according to the invention can also be used to attach cards, notepads or laundry.

The clips of the invention 5 , 6 , 15 and 16 can be made of metal and/or manufactured using the stamping and bending process or the laser forging process. For this purpose, a metallic spring material is used for the respective clip.

It is noted that the term "comprising" does not exclude other elements or steps, just as the terms "a" and "an" do not exclude multiple elements and steps.
