The invention relates to a pot according to the preamble of claim 1. The invention also relates to a method for preparing a beverage.

Coffee pots or teapots are of course well known in the prior art. For example, the so-called "French Press" coffee pot for preparing coffee is known. Coffee powder is placed in a liquid container and hot water is poured over it. The coffee container has a circular inner diameter that remains constant in the longitudinal direction, so that after a certain brewing time, a circular sieve can be pressed through the liquid container from top to bottom by means of a plunger. The coffee grounds remain at the bottom of the liquid container and the potable coffee remains above the filter.

From the U.S. 2,079,603 a tea processing container is known, with a basket for holding tea leaves, which hangs on a hook inside a lid. Two spouts are provided on the side of an outer wall for pouring out the tea.

In the DE 20 2015 103076 U1 discloses a teapot with a tea infuser lifter mounted on a lid. There is a spout on the side of the teapot.

In the U.S. 2004/0069148 A1 discloses a bottle with a screw cap on which a tea or coffee strainer hangs on the inside.

Furthermore, teapots are known, in which a tea bag can be hung. It is also conceivable that a tea egg, which has a hook, is hung over the edge of the opening of the teapot and tea is prepared in this way.

It is the object of the present invention to improve a pot mentioned at the outset.

It is also an object of the invention to improve a method for preparing a beverage.

The object is achieved in its first aspect by a jug with a liquid container and a lid for closing the liquid container, the lid having an inside which points into the liquid container when the jug is closed, preferably protruding a little into the liquid container.

According to the invention, a hook is arranged on the inside of the lid, which protrudes into the liquid container and on which a device for receiving a beverage raw substance can be hooked. Beverage raw substance is to be understood here as meaning coffee powder, tea leaves or similar substances.

The device for receiving the raw beverage substance can be a tea bag, for example, or a tea egg.

However, it is also conceivable that the device comprises a main sieve container with sieve walls with a sieve cover, preferably also with sieve walls and with an eyelet that can be hung in the hook. The main sieve container can be cylindrical with a circular disk-shaped bottom designed as a sieve, the main sieve body can be closed with the container lid, which is also designed as a sieve. The container lid can be attached to the container by means of a rotary, a tilting or a plug-in closure.

The hook according to the invention is preferably arranged centrally on the inside of the lid of the pot, and the hook can be designed as a one-piece plastic component with the inside. The plastic component can be produced in a plastic casting or injection molding process. However, it is also conceivable for a hook with a screw thread to be screwed into an inside of a narrow plastic wall. A screw-threaded hook is commonly available at hardware stores.

However, completely different configurations of the hook according to the invention are also conceivable. For example, a thread can be provided on which a chain or cord is arranged at one end and the hook is provided at the other end.

A plastic core is preferably provided between the inside and a handle section of the lid, into which the thread is screwed, so that an even stronger hold is created.

The object is achieved in its second aspect by a method for preparing a beverage, in that a device for receiving a beverage raw substance is hung on a hook which is arranged on an inside of a lid of a pot with a liquid container, with the inside pointing into the liquid container when the pot is closed and the device being let into the liquid container of the pot and the lid being placed on the pot and the pot being closed becomes. In this way, the liquid container can be sealed tightly.

Advantageously, hot water is poured into the pot before the lid is placed on the pot.

The method according to the invention is particularly suitable for being carried out with one of the above-mentioned cans; conversely, the above-mentioned cans are suitable for carrying out the method according to the invention.

The screw thread is screwed into the inside 13 of plastic. Of course, other configurations of the hook 16 and the plastic inner side 13 are also possible, for example the hook 16 could be connected in one piece to the inner side 13 as a plastic component, so that the inner side 13 and the hook 16 can be produced as an injection molded component or cast component in a plastic injection or casting process. The hook 16 can also be glued to the inside 13 or attached in some other way, for example by snap, click or other fasteners.
