Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Selbstklebeetikettenrolle in Form eines bedruckbaren, trägerbandlos aufgebauten Endlosstreifens, von dem einzelne selbstklebende Etiketten abtrennbar sind. Der Endlosstreifen weist eine zumindest teilweise bedruckbare vorderseitige Streifenoberfläche und eine dieser gegenüberliegende rückseitige Streifenoberfläche auf. Der Endlosstreifen ist zu einer Rolle aufwickelbar, wobei die rückseitige Streifenoberfläche teilweise eine Haftschicht aus Haftschichtmaterial aufweist. Der Endlosstreifen ist so ausgebildet, dass selbstklebende Klebeetiketten an Abreiß- oder Schneidlinien quer zur Längsrichtung des Endlosstreifens abtrennbar sind. Mindestens drei in Längsrichtung des Endlosstreifens orientierte Streifen aus Haftschichtmaterial sind auf der rückseitigen Streifenoberfläche des Endlosstreifens aufgebracht. Zwischen zwei benachbarten Streifen aus Haftschichtmaterial ist ein haftschichtfreier Bereich ausgebildet. Description

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Selbstklebeetikettenrolle in Form eines bedruckbaren, trägerbandlos aufgebauten Endlosstreifens, von dem einzelne selbstklebende Etiketten abtrennbar sind. Der Endlosstreifen weist zumindest eine teilweise bedruckbare vorderseitige Streifenoberfläche und eine gegenüberliegende rückseitige Streifenoberfläche auf. Der Endlosstreifen ist zu einer Rolle aufwickelbar. Die rückseitige Streifenoberfläche weist teilweise eine Haftschicht aus Haftschichtmaterial auf. Aufgrund der länglichen haftschichtfreien Bereiche kann der Endlosstreifen an diesen Stellen über Stützelemente oder Führungselemente eines Druckers geführt werden, ohne dass der Endlosstreifen mit seiner Haftschicht an den Stützelementen oder Führungselementen kleben bleibt. Bei diesem Etikett ist annähernd die Hälfte der rückseitigen Streifenoberfläche mit einem Haftschichtmaterial bedeckt, so dass auf der vorderseitigen Streifenoberfläche ebenfalls mindestens die Hälfte der Fläche mit einer Silikonschicht versehen werden muss. Sinnvollerweise ist die Silikonschicht vollflächig auf der vorderseitigen Streifenoberfläche aufgebracht. Die Silikonschicht ist notwendig, damit im aufgerollten Zustand der Selbstklebeetikettenrolle die rückseitige Streifenoberfläche nicht auf der darunterliegenden vorderseitigen Streifenoberfläche des Endlosstreifens unlösbar anhaftet. Durch die Silikonschicht haftet das Haftmaterial nicht an. Die Silikonschicht bewirkt aber auch, dass die vorderseitige Streifenoberfläche nicht qualitativ hochwertig mit einem Thermotransfer-Druckverfahren bedruckbar ist, da der Thermotransferdruck nicht dauerhaft auf der Silikonschicht anhaftet. Außerdem führt die große Fläche von Haftschichtmaterial im Bereich der Schneidlinien zum Verschleiß eines Trennwerkzeugs. Verschleiß in diesem Fall heißt, dass Reste des Haftschichtmaterials am Trennwerkzeug anhaften und dadurch die Trennwirkung der Schneidkante des Trennwerkzeugs herabsetzen. Erfindungsgemäß wird eine Selbstklebeetikettenrolle in Form eines bedruckbaren, trägerbandlos aufgebauten Endlosstreifens vorgeschlagen. Von dem Endlosstreifen sind einzelne selbstklebende Etiketten abtrennbar. Der Endlosstreifen weist eine zumindest teilweise bedruckbare vorderseitige Streifenoberfläche und eine dieser gegenüberliegende rückseitige Streifenoberfläche auf. Der Endlosstreifen ist zu einer Rolle aufwickelbar. Die rückseitige Streifenoberfläche weist teilweise eine Haftschicht aus Haftschichtmaterial auf. Der Endlosstreifen ist so ausgebildet, dass selbstklebende Klebeetiketten an Abreiß- oder Schneidlinien quer zur Längsrichtung des Endlosstreifens abtrennbar sind. Mindestens drei in Längsrichtung des Endlosstreifens orientierte Streifen aus Haftschichtmaterial sind auf der rückseitigen Streifenoberfläche des Endlosstreifens aufgebracht. Zwischen zwei benachbarten Streifen aus Haftschichtmaterial ist in Längsrichtung des Endlosstreifens ein haftschichtfreier Bereich ausgebildet. Das hat den Vorteil, dass im Bereich der Abreiß- oder Schneidlinien, also im Bereich der Unterbrechung der Streifen aus Haftschichtmaterial, mit einem Trennwerkzeug Etiketten von dem Endlosstreifen abtrennbar sind, ohne dass dabei das Trennwerkzeug das Haftschichtmaterial berührt. Dadurch kann kein Haftschichtmaterial an dem Trennwerkzeug anhaften und das Trennwerkzeug verschleißt nicht aufgrund von anhaftenden Resten des Haftschichtmaterials.
