Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Anzeigen eines beabsichtigten Fahrtrichtungswechsels eines Fahrzeuges (1), wobei erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen ist, dass ein defekter Fahrtrichtungsanzeiger (2) des Fahrzeuges (1) mittels einer fahrzeugseitigen Steuereinheit (3) detektiert und lokalisiert wird und mittels eines elektrischen Signals (S) der Steuereinheit (3) ein Fehlerstatus gesetzt wird, wobei der Fehlerstatus von einer Rückleuchte (4) einer selben Fahrzeugseite wie der defekte Fahrtrichtungsanzeiger (2) erfasst wird und diese in einen Notlaufmodus versetzt wird, so dass mittels der Rückleuchte (4) bei Anforderung einer entsprechenden Fahrtrichtungsanzeige eine Funktion zur Fahrtrichtungsanzeige ausgeübt wird.The invention relates to a method for indicating an intended change of direction of travel of a vehicle (1), whereby the invention provides that a defective direction indicator (2) of the vehicle (1) is detected and localized by means of a control unit (3) on the vehicle side and by means of an electrical signal ( S) the control unit (3) is set an error status, the error status being detected by a rear light (4) on the same side of the vehicle as the defective direction indicator (2) and this being put into an emergency mode, so that by means of the rear light (4) Requesting a corresponding direction indicator a function for indicating the direction is exercised.
