The present invention relates to a shear spiral ( 1 ) for a rotating shear cylinder ( 2 ) running along the length of the shear coil ( 1 ) has a variable cut distribution. So that for shearing different textile materials, for example those with coarse fibers and textile materials with fine fibers, the shear spirals no longer have to be exchanged when changing from one textile material to the other. It is no longer necessary to switch from shear spirals with a coarse cut to shear spirals with a fine cut, because the shear spiral according to the invention ( 1 ) has a variable cut distribution and the variable cut distribution has different cuts from coarse to fine cut on a shear spiral ( 1 ) includes.
In the prior art, shear spirals with a constant cut are known. Shear spirals with a constant cut have the same cut along their longitudinal axis over the entire area.
Shearing machines for processing textile materials include one or more shear cylinders ( 2 ). On the outer surface ( 8th ) of a shear cylinder ( 2 ) are usually several shear spirals ( 1 ) arranged helically. The arrangement of the shear spirals ( 1 ) on the jacket surface ( 8th ) of the shear cylinder ( 2 ) is called helical or helical. There are usually several shear spirals ( 1 ) multi-thread, helical on the lateral surface ( 8th ) of a shear cylinder ( 2 ) arranged. Each shear spiral ( 1 ) there is at least one counter knife ( 4th ) to shear a moving length of fabric ( 5 ) assigned ( 1 , 2 ). As a rule, the shear spirals ( 1 ), which on the lateral surface ( 8th ) of a shear cylinder ( 2 ) are arranged, the same counter knife ( 4th ) assigned ( 2 ). The counter knife ( 4th ) is also called a lower knife ( 4th ) designated.
A shear cylinder ( 2 ) with helically or helically arranged shear spirals ( 1 ) ( 1 ), also called "Schermesser" (or "Scherwendel"), is used in DE 24 04 837 B2 described. The well-known shear cylinder ( 2 ) works with a counter knife arranged parallel to the shear cylinder axis ( 4th ) together ( 2 ). This defines a spatially fixed cutting line. The pile fibers of the moving fabric run into this cutting line ( 5 ) while the shear cylinder ( 2 ) rotates. Pile fibers are, by definition, e.g. in textile floor coverings, the tufts of yarn or fiber that are perpendicular to a base surface ( 2 "Fabric with pile fibers). Protruding fibers of the fabric ( 5 ), which via the counter knife ( 4th ) will protrude from the shear spirals ( 1 ) seized and severed ( 2 ). Usually the textile material to be processed is in the form of a length of fabric ( 5 ) and on a shear table ( 6th ) emotional.
A shear spiral ( 1 ) has a thigh ( 10 ) and a cutting leg arranged at an angle to this ( 9 ) with one, the thigh ( 10 ) facing away cutting edge ( 11 ) on ( 3 ). The shear spiral ( 1 ) is with the thigh ( 10 ) on the outer surface ( 8th ) of the shear cylinder ( 2 ) arranged ( 2 ).
Furthermore, a shear spiral ( 1 ) on the direction of rotation of the shear cylinder ( 12 ) forward facing side of the cutting leg ( 9 ) notch-like depressions. These notch-like depressions ( 13th ) are used as a blow ( 3 ) designated. An embodiment for a blow ( 3 ) is, for example, a wedge-shaped cut found in DE 24 04 837 B2 is described. Other embodiments are known to those skilled in the art, for example notches.
At the blow ( 3 ) are notch-like depressions ( 13th ) in the front of the cutting leg ( 9 ). The measure for the cut ( 3 ) is the number of notch-like depressions ( 13th ) per 10 mm (definition). The geometric distance between the adjacent notch-like depressions is derived from this. A "blow 10 “Thus means 10 notch-like depressions ( 13th ) on the forward-facing side of the cutting leg ( 9 ) over a length of 10 mm along the longitudinal axis of the shear spiral ( 1 ). In this example, two adjacent notch-like depressions ( 13th ) a distance of 1 mm (10 mm divided by 10 notch-like depressions). This is true when the distance between the 10 notch-like depressions ( 13th ) over which 10 mm is the same.
Two adjacent notch-like depressions ( 13th ) are always due to an increase ( 20th ) Cut. The shape of the elevation ( 20th ) between two adjacent notch-like depressions ( 13th ) results from the selected embodiment of the notch-like recess ( 13th ).
While in the shear spirals known in the art, the length of the elevation ( 20th ) between two adjacent notch-like depressions ( 13th ) always has the same distance along the longitudinal axis of the shear spiral, according to the invention the length of the elevation is ( 20th ) between two adjacent notch-like depressions ( 13th ) along the longitudinal axis of the shear spiral ( 1 ) variable.
The notch-like depressions ( 13th ) preferably extend to the cutting edge ( 11 ). As a result, the cutting edge ( 11 ) does not have a straight, but a zigzag-like course. In the interaction between the shear spiral ( 1 ) with the lower knife ( 4th ) When cutting textile materials, a triangular space is formed in which the fibers of the textile material to be cut are held until the cut. It follows from this fact that a larger space is required for cutting textile material with coarse fibers and a smaller space is required for cutting textile material with fine fibers. This is achieved by default by cutting textile materials with fibers of different sizes Shear spirals can be used with different cuts. For coarse fibers, a shear coil ( 1 ) with a rough cut in order to obtain good quality. A rough cut is equivalent to less notch-like indentations per 10mm along the longitudinal axis of the shear spiral ( 1 ). For the shearing of textile materials with fine fibers, however, a shear spiral ( 1 ) with a fine cut is required in order to obtain good quality. A fine cut has more notch-like depressions per 10 mm along the longitudinal axis of the shear coil ( 1 ) as a rough blow.
For example, for shearing carpets with natural fibers, shear spirals are used with one cut 14th and for shearing carpets with synthetic fibers shear spirals with one cut 22nd needed. The blow is accordingly 14th compared to the blow 22nd the rougher blow ( 3 ). The blow 22nd is compared to the bat 14th the finer cut ( 3 ). The coarse or coarser cut is also called the maximum cut and the fine or finer cut is also known as the minimum cut. The term "coarse cut" refers to the comparison with the finer cut in the repeat. The term "fine cut" refers to the comparison with the coarser cut in the repeat.
Shear spirals according to the current state of the art have a constant distribution of the cut along their length. For the shearing of textile materials with different fibers (textile fibers), several shear cylinders ( 2 ), which are equipped with shear spirals, one of the shear cylinder ( 2 ) to shear cylinder ( 2 ) have different cuts. This is because every single shear spiral ( 1 ) has only one cut in the prior art. This cut is constant along the longitudinal axis of the spiral shear ("spiral shear with constant cut"). It is also known in the prior art that each shear cylinder is only equipped with shear spirals of the same type. This means that a shear cylinder in the prior art has only one cut (“shear cylinder with constant cut”). The cut is constant both on individual shear spirals and on individual shear cylinders in the prior art.
The following options are available to adapt the shearing process to different textile materials: - 1. Replacement of the shear spirals on a cylinder, which is built into a shearing machine, with shear spirals with a different cut.
- 2. Exchanging a shear cylinder completely equipped with shear spirals in the shearing machine for another completely equipped shear cylinder with a different cut.
- 3. Provision of a shearing machine with several shear cylinders, which are equipped with shear spirals with different cuts.
If you take into account that, for example, for shearing carpets, usually two to three shear cylinders with shear spirals are installed in the shearing machine with the same cut, then the extent of labor and material costs for changing the shear spirals becomes clear.
The present invention is based on the object of increasing the area of application of a shear spiral in such a way that one version of the shear spiral ( 1 ) different textile materials can be sheared in a previously comparable quality, thus avoiding the material-related change of shear spirals. The task is achieved by the shear spiral according to the invention ( 1 ) with variable cut and shear cylinder ( 2 ), which include shear spirals with a variable cut. The invention relates to a shear spiral ( 1 ) with variable cut ( 3 ). The shear spiral according to the invention ( 1 ) points in the direction of rotation of the shear cylinder ( 12 ) facing surface of the cutting leg ( 9 ) notch-like depressions ( 13th ) on. These notch-like depressions are called a cut ( 3 ) designated. This is in 3 shown schematically. The notch-like depressions ( 13th ) preferably consist of individual, adjacent elongated notches in the surface of the cutting leg ( 9 ) the shear spiral ( 1 ) ( 4th ). An essential feature of the shear spiral according to the invention ( 1 ) is that the distance between adjacent notch-like depressions ( 13th ) is variable, ie not constant. The variation in the distance between adjacent notch-like depressions from a maximum distance A 1 ( 14th ) between two adjacent notch-like depressions ( 13th ) up to a minimum distance A 2 ( 15th ) between two adjacent notch-like depressions ( 13th ) and from the minimum distance A 2 ( 15th ) to the next maximum distance A 1 ( 14th ) between two adjacent notch-like depressions ( 13th ) provides a report ( 17th ). According to the invention, the shear coil ( 1 ) a report ( 17th ) on. An example is a report ( 17th ) in 4th shown. Within a report ( 17th ) the distance between two adjacent notch-like depressions varies ( 13th ) from a maximum distance A 1 ( 14th ) between two notch-like depressions ( 13th ) up to a minimum distance A 2 ( 15th ) between two notch-like depressions ( 13th ) and from the minimum distance A 2 ( 15th ) to a next maximum distance A 1 ( 14th ) ( 4th ). An essential feature of the shear spiral according to the invention ( 1 ) is thus a report ( 17th ), where within a report ( 17th ) is varied from one rough cut to a fine cut and from the fine cut to the next rough cut. The change of blow ( 3 ) from a maximum distance A 1 ( 14th ) between two adjacent notch-like depressions ( 13th ) to a minimum distance A 2 ( 15th ) between two adjacent notch-like depressions ( 13th ) and to the next maximum distance A 1 ( 14th ) between two adjacent notch-like depressions ( 13th ) becomes according to the invention as a variable cut ( 3 ) designated. In contrast to the constant cut known in the prior art ( 3 ) a shear spiral ( 1 ), the inventive shear coil ( 1 ) a variable cut ( 3 ) on. The blow ( 3 ) varies along the longitudinal axis of the shear spiral according to the invention ( 1 ), whereby the arrangement of the notch-like depressions ( 13th ), i.e. the distance between individual neighboring cuts ( 3 ) the report ( 17th ) follows.
The report ( 17th ) has a length "L". The length "L" of the repeat ( 17th ) is caused by the transition from the rough cut ( 3 ) to the fine blow ( 3 ) and to the next rough cut ( 3 ) specified. The transition from the coarse to the fine cut ( 3 ) and from the fine to the next rough cut ( 3 ) can be done over a short or long distance, i.e. longer or shorter. The length of the repeat ( 17th ) is also determined by the selected rough cut ( 3 ) and the selected fine cut ( 3 ) influences. The transition from the rough cut ( 3 ) to the fine cut ( 3 ) to the next rough cut ( 3 ) can be more or less fluent. The length of the repeat ( 17th ) can be made by a specialist for different textile materials, which with a shear spiral ( 1 ) should be edited, selected and adjusted.
In a preferred embodiment of the shear coil according to the invention ( 1 ) the minimum distance A 2 ( 15th ) of two adjacent notch-like depressions ( 13th ) at half the length of the repeat "L / 2" ( 16 ) reached. In a preferred embodiment of the shear coil according to the invention ( 1 ) is the minimum distance between two adjacent notch-like depressions, i.e. the fine cut at half the repeat length L / 2 ( 16 ) reached.
The maximum distance A 1 ( 14th ) of two adjacent notch-like depressions ( 13th ) results from the cut for the lower limit value (rough cut) and the minimum distance A 2 ( 15th ) of two notch-like depressions ( 13th ) results from the value for the upper limit value (fine cut). By stringing together the reports ( 17th ) virtually infinitely long shear spirals with variable cut distribution can be produced. In preferred embodiments of the invention, a shear spiral ( 1 ) at least one report ( 17th ) on. For example, a shear coil ( 1 ) two reports, three reports, four reports, preferably at least 5 reports or more. Preferably, the shear spiral ( 1 ) one or more reports ( 17th ), with a repeat through the maximum distance A 1 ( 14th ) between two notch-like depressions ( 13th ) over the minimum distance A 2 ( 15th ) between two notch-like depressions ( 13th ) to the next maximum distance A 1 ( 14th ) is given between two notch-like depressions and the repeat ( 17th ) along the longitudinal axis of the shear spiral ( 1 ) repeated and where the report ( 17th ) at both ends of the shear spiral ( 1 ) does not have to be complete.
Preferably, a shear coil ( 1 ) that have more than one report ( 17th ) includes the same reports ( 17th ) on. A shear spiral according to the invention ( 1 ) but can also have two or more different reports ( 17th ) exhibit. The reports ( 17th ) a shear spiral ( 1 ) can differ, for example, with regard to the length "L" of the individual repeats ( 17th ) differ.
In an analogous way, a report ( 17th ) of course at a minimal distance ( 15th ) between two adjacent notch-like depressions (a fine cut) and to a maximum distance ( 14th ) merge smoothly between two adjacent notch-like depressions (one rough cut) and then to the next minimal distance ( 15th ) between two adjacent notch-like depressions (a fine cut).

The offset arrangement (= offset) ( 19th ) of the shear spirals ( 1 ) with variable cut distribution is an essential feature of the shear cylinder according to the invention ( 2 ). Preferably all shear spirals (I to n), on a shear cylinder ( 2 ), a defined offset P ( 19th ) to each other to avoid an unfavorable accumulation of a given cut distribution at one point along the length of the shear cylinder in
Circumferential direction ( 18th ) to avoid ( 5 ). The offset P ( 19th ) results from the number n of shear spirals ( 1 ) with variable cut on the shear cylinder ( 2 ) and the length "L" of the repeat ( 17th ) on a shear spiral ( 1 ) to P = L / n. In other words, the offset P ( 19th ) corresponds to the repeat length L ( 17th ) divided by the number of shear spirals n.
The arrangement of the sequence of shear spirals I, II, III to n on a rolled-out surface ( 8th ) of a shear cylinder ( 2 ) is in 5 shown. In this embodiment the repeat is ( 17th ) on all shear spirals ( 1 ) with variable cut ( 3 ) equal. The shear spirals ( 1 ) with variable chop can be used on the Shear cylinder ( 2 ) be arranged helically or helically. Alternatively, the shear spirals ( 1 ) with variable cut ( 3 ) on the outer surface ( 8th ) of the shear cylinder ( 2 ) be arranged parallel to the cylinder axis.
Due to the variable cut distribution within the repeats on the shear spirals according to the invention ( 1 ) with variable cut together with the offset arrangement of adjacent shear spirals ( 1 ) on the jacket surface ( 8th ) along the perimeter ( 18th ) of the shear cylinder ( 2 ) it follows that with a rotation of the shear cylinder according to the invention ( 2 ) at any point on the lower blade ( 4th ) all possible variations of the cut ( 3 ) between the selected coarse cut and the selected fine cut. On the mantle surface ( 8th ) of the shear cylinder ( 2 ) form the shear spirals arranged according to the invention ( 1 ) in two-dimensional expansion a distribution of distances between adjacent notch-like depressions that vary smoothly between the selected coarse cut and the selected fine cut. A shear cylinder according to the invention thus replaces ( 2 ), which has 1 to n shear spirals ( 1 ) is equipped with variable cut distribution, all shear cylinders that are equipped with shear spirals whose cut lies between the selected coarse cut and the selected fine cut. This means that to shear different textile materials you no longer need several different shear cylinders, each of which has shear spirals with a constant cut that differs from cylinder to cylinder, but only one shear cylinder ( 2 ) with variable cut, the shear spirals ( 1 ) with a variable cut that is offset in repeat on the shear cylinder ( 2 ) are arranged.
The subject of the invention is the use of the shear cylinder according to the invention ( 2 ) for shearing a variety of different textile materials. In particular, the use for shearing textile materials, usually with shear cylinders that are sheared with shear spirals with the selected coarse cut; for shearing textile materials, usually with shear cylinders, those with shear spirals, which are sheared with the selected fine cut; for shearing textile materials that are normally sheared with shear cylinders, which are sheared with shear spirals that have a cut that lies between the selected coarse and the selected fine cut.
