- bei Vorliegen einer Gefahrensituation eine Position der Gefahrensituation mit der ermittelten Blickrichtung (R) des Fahrers (2) verglichen wird und
- in Abhängigkeit der Blickrichtung (R) vorgegeben wird, wo und in welcher Weise ein Warnhinweis in Bezug auf die Gefahrensituation im Fahrzeug (1) ausgegeben wird.

Ein Verfahren zum Betrieb eines Fahrzeuges mit einer Umgebungssensorik und einer Fahrerbeobachtungskamera sieht erfindungsgemäß vor, dass anhand erfasster Bildsignale der Fahrerbeobachtungskamera zyklisch eine Blickrichtung eines Fahrers im Fahrbetrieb des Fahrzeuges ermittelt wird. Zudem wird anhand erfasster Signale der Umgebungssensorik eine Gefahrensituation ermittelt, wobei bei Vorliegen einer Gefahrensituation eine Position der Gefahrensituation mit der ermittelten Blickrichtung des Fahrers verglichen wird und in Abhängigkeit der Blickrichtung vorgegeben wird, wo und in welcher Weise ein Warnhinweis in Bezug auf die Gefahrensituation im Fahrzeug ausgegeben wird.A method for operating a vehicle with an environmental sensor system and a driver observation camera according to the invention provides that a viewing direction of a driver during driving operation of the vehicle is determined cyclically on the basis of detected image signals of the driver observation camera.
