Description
The invention relates to a lighting device for a motor vehicle.
In a motor vehicle, respective lighting devices are provided for the most diverse functions. In this case, today's lighting devices already often have approaches to complement or expand a basic function, which is present for example in the form of pure lighting of areas in the interior or outside of the motor vehicle. However, known devices of the prior art often have only limited degrees of freedom in the lighting design of luminaires or have only a limited information content of light functions. In order to meet the increasing demands, it is also the case that often an interconnection of different light sources to, for example, a contiguous graphic is to be regarded as known. This can be variable in time or the light sources are positioned one above the other. In the interior of first approaches are known, which include a semi-transparent mirror at different light sources.
The invention is based on the object to provide a lighting device for a motor vehicle, which provides a high degree of freedom based on the light or the information shown and thereby is inexpensive to implement.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that a lighting device for a motor vehicle is provided. This lighting device comprises an outer housing which externally surrounds the other components and has at least one transparent partial area, at least one first light source element, at least one second light source element or at least one background object, at least one highly transparent projection surface element or at least one semi-transparent mirror element, each with a reflecting side between the at least second light source element or the at least one background object and an outer region of the at least one transparent subregion of the housing, wherein light rays from the at least second light source element or the at least one background object through the highly transparent projection surface element or the semitransparent mirror element and the at least one transparent subregion of the housing are visible outside the lighting device / is. Furthermore, the lighting device comprises a lens object element, wherein light rays from the at least one first light source element due to a position of the lens object element relative to the at least one first light source element and the reflective side of the at least one highly transparent projection surface element or the at least one semi-transparent mirror element also outside the at least one transparent portion of the housing are visible, wherein at least partially overlapping of image planes of light beams of the at least first light source element and light beams of the at least second light source element or an image plane of the at least one background object can be realized. The highly transparent projection surface element or the semitransparent mirror element are in each case embodied such that, for example, the at least one underlying background object is visible, even if a majority of the light rays of the at least one first light source element is reflected. The operation of the highly transparent projection surface element hereby resembles the function of a half mirror, wherein in the present case the highly transparent projection surface element typically has a lower degree of reflection than a half mirror. For example, this reflectance of the highly transparent projection surface element can be <10%. This manifestation with such a reflectance of the highly transparent projection surface element maximizes a self-adjusting 3D effect. Unlighted objects or the image plane of the at least one background object or possibly existing apertures, which are each behind the reflective surface of the highly transparent projection surface element or the semitransparent mirror element, so are also visible in the activated at least a first light source element, so that the impression of a spatial depth is generated. This effect thus also occurs in the case of a semitransparent mirror element, wherein a desired degree of penetration of the light beams can be obtained here as required. In this case, the highly transparent projection surface element correspondingly has a higher degree of penetration than the semitransparent mirror element, but the basic function remains ensured in each case in both listed alternatives. The reflective surface does not visually divide the aperture. The at least one background object can be designed to be luminous or non-luminous. Also, the background object itself can be illuminated by light rays. The 3D effect occurs, in particular, in the case of illuminated or generally illuminated or generally a luminous background object. The at least one primary light source element is basically better visible and can optionally be designed to be less faint or merely reflective. A series connection of a plurality of highly transparent projection surface elements or a plurality of semitransparent mirror elements is possible. It is thus possible to provide a high degree of freedom with respect to the illustrated light or information. A superposition of, for example, two image planes in the lighting device is possible at low cost, so that there are numerous new display options. For example, by a corresponding linking of the light source elements described above or generally of luminaires, optics or of the lens object element, it may be possible to make image planes appear in areas in which no direct illumination is provided or permitted. For this purpose, the highly transparent projection surface element or the semi-transparent mirror element and the lens object element are used to produce an apparent origin for the viewer, which lies in the desired location in which direct lighting is not possible. Due to the combination of the various components in the manner presented, a high degree of freedom in light design or in the presentation of information can thus be implemented cost-effectively. It is thus possible a new design language. The projection can go beyond the legally required light function. For example, such a lighting device may be a taillight in a motor vehicle. The transparent portion of the housing may be, for example, an outer lens.
Further preferred embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the remaining, mentioned in the dependent claims characteristics.
Thus, in a further preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the lens object element is a collimator. The collimator, in conjunction with the highly transparent projection surface element or the semitransparent mirror element, ensures that, for example, the light graphic, which is not directly visible, always appears at the same place to a viewer regardless of its relative eye position. The observer thus sees at the same time through the highly transparent projection surface element or the semitransparent mirror element, for example, the at least one object lying in the background and the representation apparently floating above it, reflecting on the specular surface of the highly transparent projection surface element or the semitransparent mirror element, which differs from the light rays from the at least one first light source element results.
It is also provided in a further preferred embodiment of the invention that the at least one first light source element is surrounded by a black boundary surface. In this way, a cost-effective emphasis on a perception of the at least one first light source element is possible.
Furthermore, in a further preferred embodiment of the invention, at least one intermediate lens is arranged between the at least one second light source element or the at least one background object and the highly transparent projection surface element or the semitransparent mirror element and / or that between the lens object element and the highly transparent projection surface element or the semitransparent Mirror element is arranged at least one intermediate lens. This arrangement supports the visibility of the image planes outside the lighting device, so that a reliable operation of the lighting device is possible.
In a further preferred embodiment of the invention it is provided that the intermediate lens between the lens object element and the highly transparent projection surface element or the semi-transparent mirror element is formed so dark that unwanted reflections are avoidable. This prevents unwanted reflections in the intermediate lens and, when the at least one first light source element is switched off, allows only the background to appear visible to the outside.
Furthermore, it is provided in a further preferred embodiment of the invention that the at least one background object has a two-dimensional or a three-dimensional shape or a combination of two-dimensional and three-dimensional shapes. Thus, a viewer from the outside can perceive the displayed information very well. It offers in this way various design options, which can be realized inexpensively and without much extra effort. An annular or conical structure of the projection surface is also conceivable.
It is also provided in a further preferred embodiment of the invention that the at least one first light source element has the form of a light graphic, the light graphic comprising patterns, images, writing or an illuminated hologram, and / or at least one of the following light functions or a combination of the following Light functions has: tail light, parking light. Thus, it is possible in a simple manner to achieve different lighting designs with the presented lighting device without the basic design having to be changed significantly. A high degree of freedom in lighting design with low production costs can thus be achieved. In other words, the installation space of the lighting device can additionally serve as an indicator. For example, an information display can be realized. As already mentioned in general terms, it is thus possible for a viewer to simultaneously see through the highly transparent projection surface element or the semitransparent mirror element the at least one object lying in the background and the graph apparently hovering above it and reflecting on the reflective side. It is therefore conceivable for the at least one first light source element to have taillight functions and for a 3D mirror image to be reflected in such a way by means of the highly transparent projection surface element or the semitransparent mirror element, so that a viewer who looks from outside onto the lighting device perceives this mirror image.
In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the light graphic is variable with respect to light intensity and / or color and / or shape. Thus, an even better perception is possible. Also, a concatenation of transmitted information is possible, so that in a simple way, a high degree of freedom of the light design can be achieved. An illustrated light graphic can consist of patterns, images or text, for example, and can change in time, intensity, color and shape. Thus, for example, animated projections can also be made possible. Also, additive color mixtures between the first and second image plane can be realized.
Furthermore, in a further preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the at least one second light source element has at least one of the following light functions or a combination of the following light functions: dipped beam, brake light, flashing light. Depending on requirements, the presented lighting device can thus be configured inexpensively, since a particularly high degree of freedom in Lichtdesgin is possible.
In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the at least one first light source element comprises a controllable LED array, an OLED array or an LCD screen. In this way, an animated presentation is particularly well possible, in addition to the presented combination a high degree of design freedom is enabled. It is also conceivable that in this way, for example, a representation of a movie or a movie sequence or of a sequence of animated picture elements is made possible. For example, thus the function "Welcomelight" can be realized. Both supportive variants of this function by means of the invention are conceivable as well as variants in which this function is realized per se by means of the invention.
In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the at least one first light source element and the at least one second light source element are adjustable in such a way that at least two different light designs can be set. Thus, a high degree of freedom in light design can be realized in a simple manner. This is an exemplary application possibility, in particular when using displays as a light source or light source element. The switching order of the two light source elements can generate an additional 3D effect. In this case, the transition from the at least two light designs can be so fluid, so that any number of different light designs can be set. Depending on the combined light graphic, the light design can also be selectable, for example, via menus of an infotainment system, so that the at least two different light designs can be set here as desired by a user.
In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the lighting device comprises a light graphic instead of or in addition to the at least one first light source element and the lens object element. In this way, a representation of the 3D effect in the tag design, or if all lighting functions are turned off, possible.
In a further preferred embodiment of the invention it is provided that the Lighting device comprises at least one light function element, which is formed by transilluminating and which between the at least one first light source element and the lens object element and / or between the lens object element and the highly transparent projection surface element or the semi-transparent mirror element and / or between the highly transparent projection surface element or the semi-transparent mirror element and the outside of the at least one transparent portion of the housing is arranged. In this way, more lighting designs can be realized and it can achieve an even higher degree of freedom. Such a light-functional element may, for example, be a light guide or a light guide element or may comprise a light guide or a light guide element.
In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the at least one background object is illuminated by a light source element. An additional light source element ensures even better illumination of the at least one background object. In this way, one of the remaining light beams, which could radiate or radiate on the at least one background object, independent external illumination of the at least one background object is possible. Also, a construction-independent illumination of the at least one background object can be ensured by an additional light source element.
