Abstract

Ein Verfahren zur Niveauregulierung eines Fahrzeugs sieht erfindungsgemäß vor, dass ein Niveau des Fahrzeugs in Abhängigkeit von der fahrerindividuell ermittelten Höhendifferenz zwischen Fahrzeughöhe und der Körpergröße des Fahrers vor einem Einsteigen in das Fahrzeug automatisch eingestellt wird. Dabei ist vorzugsweise vorgesehen, dass das Fahrzeug die Körpergröße und / oder die Höhendifferenz ermittelt. Durch Anwendung des Verfahrens kann ein Einstieg in das Fahrzeug, insbesondere für einen Fahrer, wesentlich erleichtert werden. Der wesentliche Vorteil gegenüber dem Stand der Technik ist jedoch, dass es keiner zuvor abgespeicherten Daten bedarf, um ein für das Einsteigen der Person komfortables Niveau einzustellen. Somit kann nach der Erfindung das Niveau des Fahrzeuges für beliebige Fahrer / Personen eingestellt werden.
