Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Unterstützung eines Fahrers eines Fahrzeugs bei einer Durchführung eines Tankvorgangs, wobei ein bevorstehender Tankvorgang präventiv, insbesondere mittels eines im Fahrzeug angeordneten Navigationssystems, erkannt wird. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass eine Zapfsäule mittels einer am oder im Fahrzeug angeordneten Sensorik gesucht und deren Position relativ zum Fahrzeug ermittelt wird und bei Annäherung des Fahrzeugs an die ermittelte Zapfsäule, diese im Fahrzeug mittels eines visuellen Ausgabegeräts (1) angezeigt wird.
