Abstract

The presented invention relates to a method for thermal cleaning of at least one part of a surface of at least one operating element (3) of a vehicle (1), in which by means of a heating element comprised by the at least one operating element (3) the at least one part of the at least one operating element (3 ) is heated to a predetermined temperature for a predetermined time range, and wherein the predetermined temperature and / or the time range is selected so that by heating a microbial load on the at least one part of the surface of the at least one operating element (3) relative to a microbial stress on the at least part of the surface of the at least one operating element (3) is reduced before heating.

Description

  • The presented invention relates to a method for the thermal cleaning of at least a part of a surface of at least one operating element of a vehicle and to a cleaning system configured to carry out the presented method.
  • When a vehicle is used by several persons, as is typical, for example, for so-called "car-sharing" models, the vehicle is contaminated by germs transmitted by respective users, in particular viruses and bacteria, at the microbial level. Such contaminants interfere with a user experience and can possibly transmit diseases to other users.
  • One way to clean contact surfaces of, for example, a steering wheel, a door handle, or the like, is to use cloths for manual rubbing. However, such manual rubbing is neither comfortable nor conducive to a pleasant user experience.
  • The German publication DE 20 2012 012 013 U1 discloses a steering wheel with a receptacle into which a cleaning device can be releasably introduced.
  • By the German publication DE 10 2016 110 547 A1 discloses a disinfection device for a vehicle, which generates by means of LEDs light rays in a suitable wavelength for disinfection. A method for cleaning a vehicle interior by means of a radiation device is in the German publication DE 10 2012 006 972 A1 disclosed.
  • Against this background, it is an object of the present invention to provide a cost effective and quickly feasible way of killing microorganisms in a vehicle.
  • To achieve the above object, a method for thermal cleaning of at least a part of a surface of at least one control element of a vehicle is presented. For this purpose, it is provided that, by means of a heating element encompassed by the at least one operating element, the at least one part of the at least one operating element is heated to a predetermined temperature for a predetermined time range. Furthermore, it is provided that the predetermined temperature and / or the time range is or are selected such that a microbial load on the at least one part of the surface of the at least one control element against microbial stress on the at least one part of the surface of the at least one operating element is reduced before heating.
  • Accordingly, the predetermined temperature and / or the predetermined time range is to be selected as a function of a surface condition of the at least one operating element and / or the type of microorganisms to be eliminated. The surface texture defines a structure of the surface as well as a material of which the surface consists. Among other things, the material determines how high a temperature is to be selected or how long the surface must be kept at a certain temperature in order to be able to kill certain microorganisms. Finally, the surface finish also defines a maximum temperature to which the surface may be heated without being destroyed, and / or a maximum time range in which the surface may be exposed to a particular elevated temperature without being destroyed.

  • The presented invention is used in particular for the microbial cleaning of at least one operating element of a vehicle, d. H. for cleaning the at least one operating element of microorganisms, so that a microbial load by microorganisms, such as. Bacteria, fungi or viruses, is minimized. In order to minimize a microbial load or contamination of a control element, it is provided that the control element comprises a heating element, such as a resistance wire or a heating coil and is heated by means of the heating element. It is provided that the control element is heated so long and so strong that the microbial load on the operating element is reduced by the heating compared to the microbial load on the operating element before heating.
  • By means of the heating element provided according to the invention, a control element can be heated in such a way that its surface heats up so strongly that microorganisms located on the surface are killed. Depending on how long, d. H. for what time range, and how strong, d. H. at what temperature, the control element is heated, each existing on the control microorganisms can be partially or completely killed.
  • In the context of the presented invention, an operating element is to be understood as any element suitable for operating a vehicle or for operating components of a vehicle.   • In the context of the presented invention, a microbial load is to be understood as meaning a number of microorganisms, such as yeasts, fungi, bacteria or viruses, applied to a control element, for example by a user.
  • In one possible embodiment of the presented method, it is provided that the predetermined time range and the predetermined temperature are selected such that the at least one part of the surface of the at least one operating element is disinfected or sterilized.
  • In particular, it is provided that a time period for which an operating element is heated to a predetermined temperature is selected so that the operating element is disinfected. This requires that the control element be heated for so long and until a germ load on the control element is reduced by a factor of 10 -5 compared to a state before heating. For this purpose, the control element can, for example, be heated to a temperature of 80 ° C. for a time range of 20 minutes. Since materials used in an interior of a vehicle are usually designed for a temperature load of 80 ° C, they can usually be easily disinfected in the manner described above.
  • Furthermore, it is conceivable that the operating element is heated so strongly, for example, to 120 ° C., that all microorganisms present on the operating element are killed and the operating element is sterilized.
  • It is conceivable that a user may choose between different cleaning conditions, i. H. between different temperatures and time ranges, can choose and, as a result, determines the degree of purification of respective controls themselves.
  • In a further possible embodiment of the presented method it is provided that, while the at least one control element has a surface temperature which is higher than a predefined threshold value, a warning is issued which warns a user of the elevated temperature.
  • In order to avoid a violation of a user of a respective vehicle due to the presented method, it is provided that the user is automatically warned when it can burn on heated controls. For this purpose, the user can, for example, be sent a message to a mobile computing unit, so that the user can give the vehicle or the heated operating elements time to cool down.
  • In a further possible embodiment of the presented method, it is provided that at least one lighting element of the vehicle is activated as a warning.
  • It is conceivable for a user to be given a warning by, for example, illuminating or blinking in a given color of the interior and / or exterior lighting. Such a warning is quickly perceived by the user outside the vehicle and can accordingly contribute to avoid injury to the user by touching a heated control element.
  • In a further possible embodiment of the presented method, it is provided that the vehicle, while the at least one operating element has a surface temperature which is higher than a predetermined threshold, is locked.
  • In order to protect a user from being injured by heated controls, it may further be provided that a respective vehicle cleaned by means of the presented method is locked until a temperature of respective heated operating elements has dropped to or below a predetermined threshold value.
  • In a further possible embodiment of the presented method, it is provided that a temperature of the following list of temperatures is selected as the predetermined temperature: 80 ° C., 100 ° C., 120 ° C., 135 ° C. In this case, the predetermined temperature by a respective tolerance value, for example. ± 5 ° C, deviate from the respective indicated in the list temperature.
  • Depending on the materials used to make each control element, different temperatures may be used to perform the method described.   • In particular, it is provided that respective materials used to produce an operating element are tuned to a temperature predetermined for carrying out the presented method. Of course, it can also be provided that the predetermined temperature is selected as a function of respective materials used to produce a control element.
  • In a further possible embodiment of the presented method, it is provided that a time range of the following list of time ranges is selected as the predetermined time range: 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 120 minutes, 240 minutes. It is also conceivable that the predetermined time range in a respective time interval of, for example, [1 minute, 5 minutes], [5 minutes, 10 minutes], [10 minutes, 15 minutes], [15 minutes, 20 minutes], [ 20 minutes, 30 minutes], [30 minutes, 60 minutes], [60 minutes, 120 minutes] or [120 minutes, 240 minutes].
  • Depending on the materials used to make each control element, different time ranges may be used to perform the presented method. Thus, for example, in the case of thermally particularly sensitive materials, a low temperature of, for example, 80 ° C. can be selected, but this is provided for a long time range of, for example, 120 minutes in order to kill microorganisms present on the operating element. It is conceivable that different control elements of a vehicle are heated at different temperatures or for different time ranges.
  • Furthermore, the presented invention relates to a cleaning system for a vehicle, with at least one control element and a control unit, wherein the control unit is configured to at least a part of the at least one control element for a predetermined time range to a predetermined temperature by means of a heating element included by the at least one control element to heat.
