Abstract
...The o. G. Invention is characterized (main claim) that - at those 4 of the total 12 edges of the cube, where not light on dark fields (but same color fields on each other) meet, an interruption of the chess field structure arises, and that this by the clearly visible spielfeldbegrenzende edge reinforcement At these 4 edges of the cube, a non-consistent cross-border check pattern with broken diagonals is avoided, and instead a playing field edge is displayed at these 4 edges. - At those 8 of the total 12 edges of the cube, where bright meet dark fields, no interruption of the chess field structure at the respective edge arises and is omitted at these 8 edges on thickening or reinforcements, here the impression of a continuous and on the To obtain the edge of the chess field, and thus no boundaries of the field boundaries are marked on these 8 edges and the structure of the playing field is continued over the edges with dark and light diagonals. This allows the continuation of the checkerboard pattern beyond the edge of the cube to the next page in the sense of a consistent check pattern across all edges. By the combination of the gimbal of the full cube, the inner axis of which passes through opposite corners of the cube and through its center of gravity, together with the previously described design of the edges of the chess fields, a freely orientable 6-sided three-dimensional chess field is formed for 6 pairs of chess teams, with 2 sides without field-limiting edge reinforcement and 4 sides, each with 2 field-limiting edge reinforcements, with a continuous, stretched over 8 edges, consistent checkerboard structure consists of each of the two sides without spielfeldbegrenzende edge reinforcement to the other sides. The advantages achieved with the new invention are: - Enabling a 3-dimensional chess game with 6 chess team pairs. - in particular, the combination of 4 chess team colors with 3 chess teams per color, with all 6 possible combinations Color1-Color2, Color1-Color3, Color1-Color4, Color2-Color3, Color2-Color4, Color3-Color4; Thus, 4 people can simultaneously play chess against each other. ...

Erreichte Vorteile:Achieved benefits:
- - Enabling a 3-dimensional chess game with 6 chess team pairs.
- - in particular, the combination of 4 chess team colors with 3 chess teams per color, with all 6 possible combinations Color1-Color2, Color1-Color3, Color1-Color4, Color2-Color3, Color2-Color4, Color3-Color4; Thus, 4 people can simultaneously play chess against each other.
- - The avoidance of a non-consistent cross-border check pattern with broken diagonal due to the clearly visible spielfeldbegrenzenden edge reinforcement at those 4 of the total 12 edges of the cube, where not bright on dark fields (but same color fields on each other) meet.
- - Allowing 2 of the 3 teams of one color at the beginning of the game to be positioned back to back on an edge without edge reinforcement, and to position the 3rd team of a color with their backs against an edge reinforcement reinforcing the playing field. The term back of a chess team at the beginning of the game is intended here to identify the respective baseline.
- - In summary, therefore, a major advantage of the invention is that hereby 4 players can simultaneously play chess against each other across the field, • the free orientation of the gimbal facilitates the overview, • prevents the construction of the 4 edge reinforcements both non-consistent edge-crossing check pattern with broken diagonal also provides the edge of the field for the formation of each 3rd team of a color, • can be offered by the possibility of installation back-to-back and back-to-edge a classic chess game similarly protected setting frame at the beginning of the game.
