In operation, a CD player reads the following encoded information for each track to be played from the CD in question: start time, end time, and current playing time.
Switching devices are provided which initiate a real-time measurement as a function of the detection of the start time of a piece to be played.
Further, comparing means for comparing the elapsed real time with the current playing time determined based on the read coded information.
In addition, recording means are provided by which a skipping operation is recorded when the time difference between the real time and the playing time determined by the comparing means is greater than a predetermined time interval.

In this case, test signals, which coded identifiers, are played back via the test signal identity and / or via the multimedia components to be tested.
Die abgespielten Testsignale werden aufgenommen. The played test signals are recorded.
The coded identifiers are decoded and the recorded test signals are evaluated on the basis of information which is referenced via the coded identifiers.
Multimedia files can be compressed at a constant or variable bit rate.
At a variable bit rate, there is no directly computable relation between the position of the playback in the multimedia file and the associated playing time, since each block to be read has a "variable" time, as with a constant size of a block in "kbyte" and variable Bitrate in "kByte / s" results in a changing time packet.
There are compression methods, for example the audio file format "mp3", where the respective bit rate is described at the beginning of a block. From this, the playing time in a linear playback can be easily calculated.
The magnification, d. H. the position of the playback is changed linearly, including fast-forwarding and rewinding the multimedia file at a constant or variable speed.
For non-linear playback, i. H. the position of the playback is changed abruptly, but the direct reference is lost.
In the multimedia files, statistics are partly stored at the beginning, which should facilitate the calculation of the current playing time and the total playing time.
The variable playing time per package nevertheless leads to the fact that possibly the remaining playing time shows the value "0", but still content follows, or at the end of the content still a remaining playing time exists.
Another effect is that the game time display "jumps" after a non-linear change in the position of the seek (time to seek) after a short time due to the recalculation.
Aufgabe der ErfindungObject of the invention
The invention has for its object to provide a method which ensures testing of displayable on a display of a multimedia system current playing time even with a non-linear playback.
Lösung der AufgabeSolution of the task
The object is achieved by a method according to claim 1.
Vorteile der Erfindung Advantages of the invention
According to the invention, at least one absolute timestamp is inserted in a multimedia file to be tested, which is not coded. The absolute timestamp includes information about a time of a current season. The insertion may, for example, be continuous, for example every second or every five seconds, so that the position of the playback of the current playing time can be recorded with a precision of one second or with an accuracy of five seconds. The position of the absolute timestamp can be chosen so that the end of the timestamp is on a second change.
After the insertion of the absolute timestamp this multimedia file is coded.
After the encoding of the multimedia file, it is decoded and played / played back in the multimedia system.
During playback, the elapsed time and remaining time are displayed on the multimedia file screen. The elapsed playing time is a period of time between the beginning of a multimedia file and a currently playing time of the multimedia file. The remaining playing time is a period of time between a currently reproduced time of the multimedia file and the time of the end of a multimedia file.
In addition, during playback, the absolute timestamp is detected / detected and decoded.
After the decoding of the absolute timestamp, it is evaluated on the basis of the elapsed playing time and remaining playing time displayed on the display of the multimedia system. The evaluation can be online, d. H. in real time. The evaluation can be done for example in an evaluation, which is connected to an output for an audio or video signal.
For example, if the total playing time of a multimedia file is 6 minutes and 42 seconds, and the decoded absolute time stamp is "1 minute and 41 seconds", then the current playing time shown on the multimedia file display is correct, that is. H. correct or plausible if the elapsed playing time is "1 minute and 41 seconds" and the remaining playing time is "- 5 minutes and 1 second".
By means of the evaluation, the quality / quality of the current playing time shown on the display can be determined.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, when playing the multimedia file to be tested, a position of the reproduction is changed linearly.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the playback position of the multimedia file to be tested, the position of the playback is not changed linearly. The change in position can take place, for example, in timed, random, equidistant or variable intervals.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, in a multimedia file present in an audio format, the absolute time stamp is frequency-coded. The frequency coding can be carried out, for example, by means of a sequence of DTMF tones (DTMF = short tone for dual tone multiple frequency). A sequence of DTMF tones is with the English. Term "burst". The sequence of DTMF tones is characterized by a constant frequency and a fixed length, whereby no reflection-poor environment is required for the detection of the burst signal. An absolute time mark frequency-coded by means of a sequence of DTMF tones may, for example, consist of seven tones, two digits being provided for the identification of the absolute time mark and five digits for the absolute time. By means of the five digits, with a possible assignment of the digits with the values "0" to "9", an absolute time from 00:00:00 to 27:46:39 can be encoded.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, in a multimedia file present in a video format, the absolute time stamp is optically coded. The optical coding can take place for example by means of a two-dimensional code.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the method is automatically carried out. By means of a simulated user action, the position of the reproduction can be changed linearly or non-linearly during an automatic test execution. For this purpose, for example, selects an operating system, such as a robot, on a touch-sensitive surface of the display of the multimedia system by tapping the desired position. Furthermore, there is the possibility that the signal for changing the position is fed by means of existing interfaces, for example CAN, or the manipulation takes place by means of special test interfaces.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the elapsed playing time and the remaining playing time displayed on the display of the multimedia system are detected electrically after the acquisition of the absolute time mark. The electrical detection can be done, for example, optically by means of camera, frame grabber or screenshot. The detection of the absolute timestamp triggers, for example, a signal, for example a trigger signal, by means of which a photo / image / screenshot of the display of the multimedia system is created. This photo / image / screenshot can be based on a later evaluation of the content with the corresponding decoded absolute timestamp.
The method according to the invention can also be carried out manually. In this case, the decoded absolute time mark can be displayed on a display / display of the evaluation. This is compared to the elapsed playing time and remaining playing time shown on the multimedia system screen.
