Abstract

Erfindungsgemäß werden zusätzlich mittels der Bilderfassungseinheit ein auf einem Fahrzeugsitz (4) angeordneter Kindersitz (5) und ein Verlauf eines dem Kindersitz (5) zugeordneten Sicherheitsgurtes (7) erfasst, wobei zumindest ein dem Fahrzeugsitz (4) zugeordnetes Insassenrückhaltesystem in Abhängigkeit einer Ausrichtung des Kindersitzes (5) automatisch abgeschaltet wird und/oder ein Kraftniveau einer Gurtkraftbegrenzung des Sicherheitsgurtes (7) entsprechend eines Kindes (6) in dem Kindersitz (5) eingestellt wird und/oder bei Abweichen des Verlaufes des Sicherheitsgurtes (7, 8) von einem Sollverlauf eine Information ausgegeben wird.The invention relates to a method for determining a landing state of a seat belt (7, 8) associated with a vehicle seat (2, 4) in a vehicle by means of an image capture unit.
