Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine aus einem drallstabilisierten Trägergeschoss ausstoßbare Submunition (1), insbesondere Leuchtmunition, mit einem Submunitionskörper (2) und einem heckseitig an dem Submunitionskörper (2) angeordneten Fallschirmgehäuse (3) mit einem darin befindlichen Hauptfallschirm. Um zu erreichen, dass eine Aktivierung des Hauptfallschirmes bei einem vorgebbaren Drall der Submunition (1) erfolgt, schlägt die Erfindung vor, den Submunitionskörper (2) und das Fallschirmgehäuse (3) über eine Fliehkraftkupplung (4) lösbar miteinander zu verbinden, derart, dass der Submunitionskörper (2) und das Fallschirmgehäuse (3) aufgrund der beim Abschuss des Trägergeschosses auftretenden Fliehkraft durch die Fliehkraftkupplung (4) kraft- und/oder formschlüssig miteinander verbunden werden, und dass nach Verringerung der Fliehkraft auf einen vorgegebenen Wert die Fliehkraftkupplung (4) die Verbindung zwischen Submunitionskörper (2) und Fallschirmgehäuse (3) löst.The invention relates to a submunition (1), in particular light ammunition, which can be ejected from a spin-stabilized carrier projectile, with a submunition body (2) and a parachute housing (3) arranged on the rear of the submunition body (2) with a main parachute located therein.
