Außerdem ist das erste Anzeigemodul transparent ausgebildet und vor dem zweiten Anzeigemodul angeordnet. Der von dem zweiten Anzeigemodul dargestellte volumetrische, zweite Anzeigeinhalt ist durch das erste Anzeigemodul hindurch sichtbar, wobei ein aus beiden Anzeigeinhalten kombinierter Anzeigeinhalt dargestellt werden kann. Dabei erscheint der zweite Anzeigeinhalt als Hintergrund für den ersten Anzeigeinhalt. Weiterhin sind an einem Rand des als Anzeigeraum ausgebildeten zweiten Anzeigemoduls, wobei dieser Rand das zweite Anzeigemodul umschließt, mehrere Laserprojektoren angeordnet, die Laserstrahlen erzeugen. Es ist vorgesehen, dass sich Laserstrahlen von zwei Laserprojektoren in einem Punkt des zweiten Anzeigemoduls und somit in einem Punkt des Anzeigeraums treffen, wobei Gas, das sich in dem zweiten Anzeigemodul befindet, ionisiert wird, wobei in diesem Punkt ein Bildpunkt bzw. Pixel erzeugt wird. Der zweite, volumetrische Anzeigeinhalt wird von einer Vielzahl derartiger, gleichzeitig erzeugter Bildpunkte innerhalb des zweiten Anzeigemoduls bereitgestellt.
