Description

Um bei Fahrzeugen thermische Beanspruchungen, Verbrennungen von Schmierstoffen sowie Verbrennungen durch zu hohe Temperaturen von Bauteilen, insbesondere im Motorraum, zumindest zu verringern, müssen Bauteile, welche in unmittelbarer Umgebung eines Brennraumes angeordnet sind, gekühlt werden. Hierzu ist im Motorraum des Fahrzeugs eine Kühlanlage, welche im Allgemeinen auf der sogenannten Flüssigkeitskühlung basiert, angeordnet. Die Kühlanlage umfasst zumindest einen Kreislauf, in welchem ein Kühlmittel zirkuliert, mittels welchem die Bauteile des Motors des Fahrzeugs im Betrieb desselben temperierbar sind. Ein Kühlmodul als Bestandteil der Kühlanlage dient der Kühlung des Kühlmittels und ist im Frontbereich des Fahrzeugs angeordnet, so dass der Fahrtwind das in dem Kühlmodul zirkulierende Kühlmittel abkühlt. Ein solches Kühlmodul befindet sich insbesondere bei einer Frontalkollision des Fahrzeugs im Deformationsbereich, so dass das Kühlmodul im Fall einer Frontalkollision stark beschädigt würde. Ziel eines Fahrzeugherstellers ist es, dass vergleichsweise viele Bauteile des Fahrzeugs bei einer Kollision desselben unbeschädigt bleiben, so dass das Fahrzeug hinsichtlich einer Fahrzeugversicherung relativ günstig einstufbar ist.In order to reduce thermal stresses on vehicles, burns of lubricants and burns due to excessive temperatures of components, especially in the engine compartment, at least components which are located in the immediate vicinity of a combustion chamber, cooled.
