Ist diese Höhe unterschritten, gibt der Schwimmerschalter (7) ein Signal über das Stromkabel (8) zur Anlage (2). Daraufhin wird die Wasserpumpe (3) über das Kabel (12) ausgeschaltet. Zugleich aktiviert die Anlage (2) das Magnetventil (4) über das Kabel (11). Wasser kommt nun aus der Wasserversorgungsleitung (13) ins Magnetventil (4). Besitzt man eine Osmoseanlage (14), fließt das Wasser erst durch diese Anlage und dann über den Schlauch (6) in das Filterbecken (9). Steigt im Filterbecken (9) der Wasserspiegel wieder bis zur vorher eingestellten Höhe im Schwimmerschalter (7), gibt das Kabel (8) ein Signal zur Anlage (2) und die Anlage schaltet sich, nach vorher eingestellter Zeit, selbst aus. Ist die Anlage ausgeschaltet, ist das Magnetventil im inaktiven Zustand.
