Description
GEBIET DER ERFINDUNGFIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a filter system which can be advantageously used in particular in paint shops.
HINTERGRUND DER ERFINDUNGBACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
In paint shops, in which paint is sprayed onto the workpiece to be painted by means of compressed air, a considerable part of the paint passes, which is blown past the workpiece to be coated (one speaks of the "overspray", which can be up to 50% of the total amount of paint), into the air and forms with this an aerosol. Essentially two methods are known for filtering out these paint particles and / or solvent particles (hereinafter dirt particles) from the air.
In the wet separation, the air containing the dirt particles is passed through a water spray curtain. The dirt particles washed out by the water must subsequently be separated from the water again by chemical means and the resulting waste must be disposed of as hazardous waste.
During dry separation, the aerosol extracted from the painting room is passed through a filter device with a filter mat, in which the filtered-out dirt particles accumulate. In aerosol, the dirt particles are usually already in solid form, but even if the filter mat is located in the area immediately behind the workpiece to be painted and the dirt particles still hit the filter mat in liquid form, the dirt particles go no firmer bond with the filter mat and dry out immediately. To regenerate the filter mat, which is necessary when the storage capacity of the filter mat is exhausted to a good extent, the dirt particles are sucked by means of a vacuum cleaner. This extracted color dust is dried out, no longer chemically reactive and therefore does not have to be disposed of as hazardous waste. This results in significant cost advantages over wet separation.

ZUSAMMENFASSUNG DER ERFINDUNGSUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The above object is solved by the subject matter of the independent claim.
The filter system according to the invention has a filter device which is installed in a pit or depression of a work space in which an aerosol containing dirt particles to be filtered by means of the filter device is present or arises. In this case, a substantially planar grid element covers the pit or recess of the work space such that the grid element at least partially forms the floor of the work space and allows the suction of the existing or resulting in the workroom, dirt particles containing aerosol by means of the filter device through the grid element. The grid element can rest on the upper end of the pit edge or on support elements extending through the pit. The filter system according to the invention is characterized in that at least a part of the substantially planar grid element is designed such that it can be opened and closed, d. H. from the plane defined by the substantially planar grid element, which coincides with the ground plane of the work space, can be pivoted about a pivot point such that the resulting opening in the grid element grants access to the filter device.
According to a preferred embodiment, the grid element may consist partially or completely of one or more pivotable sections.
The pivotable portion of the grid element may be hinged to a stationary part of the grid element. Alternatively, the pivotable portion of the grid element on Pit edge or be articulated on extending through the pit support elements.
According to a further preferred embodiment, the filter system further comprises a control unit and a pivoting unit which allow automatic pivoting (i.e., opening and closing) of the pivotable portion of the grid element. For this purpose, upon actuation of the control unit (for example by pressing an actuating button), the pivoting unit is controlled by the control unit such that the pivoting unit moves the pivotable portion of the grid element from an operating position (closed position), in which the pivotable portion of the grid element in the through the grid element defined level is in a maintenance position (open position), in which the resulting opening in the grid element grants access to the filter device, pivots and vice versa. The swiveling unit can be an electric servomotor, a pneumatic cylinder, a hydraulically driven linkage, a gas pressure damper or the like.
In embodiments in which the grid element partially or completely consists of a plurality of pivotable sections, a separate pivoting unit can be provided for each pivotable section, which allows the grid element to be opened and access to the underlying filter device, where a cleaning, Maintenance and / or repair is required. Alternatively, a central pivoting unit may be provided, which is mechanically (eg via a linkage) and / or hydraulically connected to the pivotable sections of the grid element. For example, a pivoting or driving unit can drive a shaft which is suitably connected to the pivotable sections of the grid element in order to pivot it by a rotation of the shaft, i. H. to open and close.
According to a further preferred embodiment, the filter device consists of at least one fleece-like filter mat for filtering out the dirt particles and at least one Luftabsaugeinheit for sucking the aerosol interspersed with dirt particles from the work space through the grid element and the fleece-like filter mat. Preferably, the filter mat rests on an air-permeable support frame, which is arranged below the pivotable portion of the grid element and how it (together with the filter mat) can be pivoted about a pivot point from an operating position to a maintenance position and vice versa. For this purpose, the support frame may also be articulated on a stationary part of the grid element, on the pit edge or on extending through the pit support members.
In a preferred embodiment of this embodiment, the support frame, on which the filter mat is mounted, so mechanically connected to the above, arranged pivotable portion of the grid element, that the pivotal movement of the pivotable portion of the grid element is coupled to the pivotal movement of the support frame. This can for example be achieved in that the pivotable portion of the grid element is connected via a chain to the support frame, and preferably each at the opposite end of the pivot point of the pivotable portion of the grid element and the support frame. Such a configuration has the particular advantage that both the pivotable portion of the grid element and the underlying support frame with the filter mat arranged thereon can be pivoted by means of a single pivoting unit from the operating position to the maintenance position and vice versa.
According to a further preferred embodiment, the filter device may comprise a plurality of filter stages in the form of fleece-like filter mats, for example a pre-filter stage, a main filter stage and a fine filter stage. These different filter stages can rest on a common air-permeable support frame or each on its own air-permeable support frame. In the embodiment with a plurality of support frames, each support frame can be driven by its own pivoting unit. Preferably, however, in this embodiment as well, the support frames, on which the different filter stages are mounted, are mechanically connected to the pivotable section of the grid element arranged above it such that the pivoting movement of the pivotable section of the grid element is coupled to the pivotal movement of the support frames.
Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are defined in the subclaims.
