Die Erfindung betrifft ein Druckstück für eine Kraftfahrzeuglenkung mit mindestens einem Federelement zum Andrücken des Druckstücks gegen einen Zahnstange. Gemäß dem Stand der Technik wird bisher unter anderem bei dem gattungsgemäßen Druckstück für das Federelement eine Tellerfeder verwendet. Beim Einsatz der Tellerfeder muss diese jedoch in ihrem mittleren Bereich unterstützt werden. Zu diesem Zweck ist in dem Druckstück mittig ein zylindrischer Absatz vorgesehen, gegen den sich das Druckstück abstützen kann. Um den zylindrischen Absatz herzustellen, wird mehr Material benötigt, sodass sich die Kosten erhöhen. Die Erfindung löst die gestellte Aufgabe mit einem Druckstück für eine Kraftfahrzeuglenkung mit mindestens einem Federelement zum Andrücken des Druckstücks gegen eine Zahnstange, wobei das Federelement erfindungsgemäß eine einstückige Wellfeder ist. Die Wellfeder weist also keine zwei Enden auf, sondern ist ein geschlossen umlaufendes Gebilde. Folglich kann sich die Wellfeder beim Einfedern nicht in das Material des Druckstücks eingraben, und zwar auch dann nicht, wenn das Druckstück aus einem weichen Material, beispielsweise aus Aluminium, gefertigt ist. Somit können keine Späne entstehen, so dass eine einwandfreie Funktion des Druckstücks sichergestellt ist. Ferner entfallen überlappende Endbereiche, so dass auch daraus resultierende Funktionsstörungen zuverlässig ausgeschlossen sind. Sollte die Wellfeder an einer Stelle brechen, so stellt sie immer noch ein einstückiges Gebilde dar. Folglich kann auch die an der einen Stelle gebrochene Wellfeder zuverlässig die erforderliche Federkraft aufbringen und ihre Funktion erfüllen.
