Auf diese Weise ist auch dann noch eine Kollision zwischen den beiden Fahrzeugen vermeidbar, wenn der Fahrzeugführer des ersten Fahrzeugs beispielsweise aufgrund von Müdigkeit, Unaufmerksamkeit oder lauter Musik das sich in einem toten Winkel befindliche zweite Fahrzeug übersieht. Vorteilhafterweise sollte eine Reichweite der Datenübertragung auf eine kurze Entfernung begrenzt sein, um keine unnötigen Störungen beispielsweise bei anderen Verkehrsteilnehmern zu verursachen. Eine große Reichweite ist nicht erforderlich, da das zweite Fahrzeug
Vorteilhafterweise wird die Fahrspurwechselinformation FW mittels hier nicht näher dargestellter Richtantennen am ersten Fahrzeug
