Es ist die Einrichtung für Beleuchtung des Auges, einschließend eine in einem undurchsichtigen Gehäuse befindende Lichtquelle und ein optisches System, welches das Licht der Lichtquelle in das zu beleuchtende Auge richtet, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das optische System in seinem Brennpunkt, der sich außerhalb des Gehäuses befindet, eine reelle Darstellung der Lichtquelle bildet, bekannt (siehe
Mit Hilfe der bekannten Einrichtung wird im Auge eine Punktlichtquelle geschaffen, mit deren Hilfe auf der Retina schattigen Darstellungen der Elemente der Ungleichartigkeit seiner optischen Medien formiert werden. Dafür muss man im Auge mit Hilfe des fokussierenden optischen Systems eine reelle Darstellung der Lichtquelle formieren, die eine möglichst kleine Winkelgröße hat. In der bekannten Einrichtung ist eine solche Quelle mittels eines Diaphragmas mit einer kleinen Öffnung gebildet. Der Durchmesser der Öffnung des Diaphragmas ist in der bekannten Einrichtung mit der Entfernung des Diaphragmas vom Eingangsfenster des fokussierenden Systems verbunden. Bei der Ratio des Durchmessers der Öffnung des Diaphragmas zu dieser Entfernung von etwa 10–3 und weniger (zum Beispiel, bei dem Durchmesser der Öffnung ca. 0,1 Mm und die Entfernung von 10 – bis 20 cm) formiert sich auf Retina des Auges ein genügend deutliches Bild der Darstellungen der undurchsichtigen Partikeln und anderer Elemente der Ungleichartigkeit in den durchsichtigen optischen Medien des Auges. Doch haben diese Darstellungen nicht scharfe Konturen und sind mit hellen Aureolen umgeben.
