Die Teilgehäuse greifen wie erwähnt muffenartig unter radialem Abstand ineinander, um den Hebelweg für den Brechvorgang zu gewährleisten. Mangels Gehäuse-Kontaktgabe werden für eine elektrische Verbindung zwischen den Kabelschirmen der beiderseitigen Anschlusskabel in der Praxis die Enden der beiden Kabelschirme im jeweiligen Teilgehäuse des Steckverbinders an eine der Stift-Buchsen-Kontaktpaarungen angeschlossen. Allerdings sind damit die durch den Steckverbinder über seinen Kontaktbereich der Stift-Buchsen-Kontaktpaarungen verlaufenden elektrischen Verbindungen nicht abgeschirmt. Das wäre aber unbedingt anzustreben für Einsatz des Brechkupplungs-Steckverbinders in der Umgebung starker elektromagnetischer Störfelder, zumal wie sie beim militärischen Einsatz von Hochleistungs-Mikrowellengeneratoren etwa gemäß
In Erkenntnis dieser Gegebenheiten liegt vorliegender Erfindung die technische Problemstellung zugrunde, einen serienmäßig nicht abgeschirmten Brechkupplungs-Steckverbinder gattungsgemäßer Art nachträglich mit elektromagnetischem Störschutz auszulegen, ohne seine Funktionalität dadurch zu beeinträchtigen.In recognition of these circumstances, the present invention, the technical problem underlying a standard unshielded Brechkupplungs connector generic type subsequently interpreted with electromagnetic interference, without affecting its functionality.
