Die mit der Erfindung hauptsächlich erzielten Vorteile bestehen darin, dass die Armauflage gesichert am türseitigen Trägerteil gehalten wird, so dass bei einem Seitenaufprall eine ungewollte Verlagerung der Armauflage ins Innere des Fahrzeugs verhindert wird. Dies wird nach der Erfindung in vorteilhafter Weise erreicht, indem zwischen einem Grundträger der Armauflage und einem türseitigen Träger ein Halteelement angeordnet ist, das in einem am Grundträger der Armauflage angeformten Dom gehalten wird, sich durch einen Schlitz oder einer Schlüssellochöffnung im türseitigen Träger erstreckt und mit einem Kopfteil am Schlitz oder der Schlüssellochöffnung verhakend abgestützt ist. Insbesondere besteht nach der Erfindung das Halteelement aus einer Schraube, die in den Dom einschraubbar ausgeführt ist und einen Kopf umfasst, der breiter als der Schlitz ausgeführt ist. Durch diese Ausführung des Halteelements mit einem sich vor dem Schlitz abstützenden Kopfteil ist gewährleistet, dass sich die Armauflage nicht vom türseitigen Träger lösen kann und sich nicht in Richtung der Insassen des Fahrzeugs verlagert.The advantages achieved by the invention are that the armrest is held secured to the door-side support member, so that in a side impact accidental displacement of the armrest is prevented inside the vehicle.
