Abstract

Neben diesen grundsätzlichen Konstruktionsvorgaben werden die Fahrzeugsitze zunehmend mit verschiedenartigen Zusatzeinrichtungen ausgestattet. Ein weiterer Nachteil ist der erhebliche Aufwand, weil die benötigten Baugruppen sehr kostenintensiv sind und in der Sitzmontage auf den Schaumkörper oder den Bezug appliziert und elektrisch verschaltet werden müssen. Während dieser Kostenanteil für Fahrzeuge im Hochpreissegment weitgehend unerheblich ist, ergeben sich jedoch Probleme für eine Nutzung derartiger Konstruktionen im Sektor der Mittelklasse- und Kleinwagen.
