Prepaid Services).in the Result of the invention, the above-mentioned payment transactions simplify via MS (mobile terminal, such as mobile phone, PDA, Smartphone o. Ä. M) taking advantage of the GSM immanenten Trusted Network to a minimum. Either the person to be paid or the payer transfers a sum the keyboard of his MS. The payer leads the payment process by pressing a confirmation button on his MS continues. Neither additional equipment nor additional security key o. are required for the end user, still fall transaction-related Costs for the customers involved. Both the ab- as also the posting takes place in real time. The above mentioned Performance specifications (points 2. and 3.) for terminals are state of the art today and practically in one or the other Characteristics available everywhere or software-technically easy to complete. The requirements described under 4. and 5. to the mobile network are also state of the art (see prepaid Services).
Im Folgenden wird die Erfindung teilweise unter Bezugname auf eine Zeichnung näher erläutert.in the Below, the invention will be partially referenced to a Drawing explained in more detail.
B. Mobile Station International
ISDN Nummer (MSISDN)) oder vergleichbare Kennungen des Nutzers (z.
B. Email-Adresse). Diese Liste kann automatisch ermittelt (z. B.
Kommando: AT + CNUM lt.
- 1) For mobile devices, a novel application is defined for interaction with the MS user as well as for communication between mobile stations. This application, hereafter called Wallet Application (WA), has the following features.
- (i) The WA stores a list of the own numbers available for payment transactions (eg Mobile Station International ISDN Number (MSISDN)) or comparable identifiers of the user (eg e-mail address). This list can be determined automatically (eg command: AT + CNUM lt.
Standard 3G TS 27.007 - (ii) Each identifier (MSISDN), resp. Each account can be assigned a currency in which the user intends to make the payments.
- (iii) The WA has a menu. The user can enter, modify and confirm a monetary amount. Negative values are not allowed.
- (iv) The presentation of whole amounts of money (eg EUR) and their fractions (cents) is significantly different. This is z. B. achieved by a significantly different font size and thus prevents unwanted false payments effectively.
- (v) The WA supports data transfer via the near-remote interfaces available on the MS, eg. B. IrDA, BlueTooth, USB, including possible universal, direct communication capabilities of two devices.
- (vi) When there is a data connection of the type specified in (v) between the payer's and the payee's mobile stations, the payee's WA sends a payee's WA record. Content of the data set is the identifier (eg MSISDN) of the former, the requested amount of money, the currency and a transaction number. Further optional information fields are possible, with all data except for the amount of money incurred without manual interaction. The amount of money can be determined by manual input.
- (vii) During the data connection, the WA blocks any other type of information exchange between the mobile terminals to prevent misuse.
B. SIM Application Toolkit, J2ME, Symbian C o. ä.
- 2) Die netzinterne Datenübermittlung erfolgt vorzugsweise mit Hilfe von im MAP (Mobile Application Part) und CAMEL (Customized Application for Mobile Enhanced Logic) spezifizierten Operationen, u. a. 3GPP TS 24.008, 3GPPTS 22.090, 3GPP TS 23.078.
- 2) The network-internal data transmission takes place preferably using MAPP (Mobile Application Part) and CAMEL (Customized Application for Mobile Enhanced Logic) specified operations, including 3GPP TS 24.008, 3GPPTS 22.090, 3GPP TS 23.078.
- (i) For the purpose of flexible addressing of messages from one server to another, the classic capabilities of SCCP (Service Connection and Control Part) - the Global Title Translation (GTT) are used. For this purpose, the destination address of the message to be sent is assigned to the MSISDN of the service subscriber managed on the destination server. Without further modifications, such a message thus reaches the home location register (HLR) of the addressee. The HLR processes the received message according to the above standards. The only necessary administrative measure between network operators is the mutual exchange of corresponding access rights.
These Method of locating the home register is effective even if due to network regulatory demands a MobileNumberPortability server necessary is. The original home register only needs initiate forwarding to the new HLR.

- (ii) Under the CAMEL standard, beginning with Phase 3, an application server initiates an AnyTime Subscription Interrogation Request (ATSI-Req). For the proper delivery of the message, the approach described under point (i) is followed. Apart from the mandatory parameters, the application server requests from the HLR the data of one (or more) CAMEL Subscription Information (CSI). The HLR returns the CSI (s) associated with the specified MSISDN to the application server. This gives this server knowledge of the address of this MSISDN managing gsmSCF (GSM Service Control Function).

Of the initiating server transmits the identifier (MSISDN, E-mail address) of the payee, the amount of money, the currency, the identifier of the payer, the under point 1 (vi) defined transaction number and other optional data.
- 3) The parties involved in the payment process described each have a special service subscription with their network operators. This service, called Wallet Service (WS) in the following, is similar to today's known prepaid services. It is installed on the application servers defined under point 2. The WS can have very different, customer-specific properties. Only the processing of messages received and the structure to be sent must follow a defined procedure in order to guarantee global availability.
- (i) The payer of the payer is able to reserve a certain amount available on the payer's account.
- (ii) The payer of the payer initiates the transfer of the data referred to in point 2 (iii).
- (iii) The payee's WS receives messages according to point 2 (iii), checks their trustworthiness and initiates the posting process.
- (iv) The payee's WS correlates the amount of money and currency of the incoming message with the accounts associated with the identifier (MSISDN, email address). If necessary, a currency conversion takes place.
- (V) The payee's WS confirms to the payer of the payer the receipt of the information and the willingness to make the booking.
- (vi) The payer's WS will debit the amount requested and report this to the payee's payee. This then makes the posting.
- (vii) The WS of both the payer and the payee inform their respective WAs about the success of the transaction, e.g. By means of the MAP message Unstructured-SSNotify.
- (viii) In the event of any irregularity, WS is able to terminate the payment process and inform the parties involved.
- (ix) The WS, through payment transactions in accordance with legal requirements, shall establish log records that can be reconciled in a second independent way as part of a post-processing operation and in accordance with the arrangements of involved network operators. This step is independent of the actual RealTime payment process, but serves to increase the reliability and trustworthiness of the system.
