Auf diese Weise fungieren Wesentliche Teile des Verbindungsgehäuses als Elemente der Schnappanordnung. Diese kann dabei relativ groß ausgebildet werden, was ihre Handhabung erleichtert. Zudem weisen die Gehäuseteile jeweils einen Abstützbereich auf, wobei beide Abstützbereiche eine Eintrittsausnehmung an einander gegenüber liegenden Seiten begrenzen. Über diese Eintrittsausnehmung ist das Steckelement in die Steckaufnahme einführbar.
