The

Three types of vacuum cleaner are described below, which are:
their structure and their operation differ. As common features
all have a motorized fan, a dust collector
and one or more adapted to the particular purpose tillage equipment.
Of the

and / or skids on the ground to be processed is movable.
Inside the housing are the engine fan and the dust collector
arranged. The tillage equipment - here floor nozzle
called - is about a suction hose, possibly with
interconnected suction pipe connected to the dust collection chamber.
The housing will go through during the suction process
Pull on the suction tube in the desired position.
Beim
At the
Hand vacuum cleaners are also the engine fan and the
Dust collection container arranged in a housing.
From the housing extends on one side of a suction tube,
which a floor nozzle with the dust collector
connects, and on the other hand a handle, with which the
Housing is maneuvered into the desired position.
Uprights
Uprights do not have such a rigorous structure as the two types mentioned above. An essential feature of an upright is a movable floor unit, which carries a torso with a large dust collector. The two parts are pivotally mounted to each other and usually fixable in a parking position in which the upper body is approximately vertical when the ground unit is in the use position on a horizontal ground. In this position, the upright is automatic. During the suction process, this locking is released and tilted the upper body by a certain angle in a working position. The swivel angle depends on the one hand on the size of the user and on the other hand from the respective use. A handle on the upper body is used to guide the entire device. The engine fan may be located at various locations. It is for example from the WO 2007/008770 A2 known to hold the blower directly to the upper body. This worsens the ease of use, because this heavy component causes a moment around the tipping point, which the user must counteract during the entire suction process. Another disadvantage of the upright according to WO 2007/008770 A2 is that it is difficult to move from a straight direction in curved paths. From the WO 2004/014209 A1 and from the EP 0 708 613 A1 It is known to form the blower as a separate unit. Through a pivot point between the upper body and the upper area of the blower ( EP 0 708 613 A1 ) or by the mounting of the blower in a rotatable, spherical housing ( WO 2004/014209 A1 ), improved maneuverability is achieved because the upright is now able to perform cornering movements.
und beim Saugvorgang an Haken etc. hängen bleibt.in the

slip rings and carbon contacts are used. This is very complicated and
expensive, in addition, the contacts wear out and are
susceptible to contamination. It is also known
to use jacketed multicore spiral cables, which either

Spiral cables require very large space, the

Ausgehend
from a vacuum cleaner of the type described above arises
The invention has the problem to improve this to the effect that the
Cable guide in the swivel joint between upper body
and ground unit is simple and still does not wear.
According to the invention
this problem by a vacuum cleaner with the features of the claim
1 solved. Advantageous embodiments and developments
The invention will become apparent from the following subclaims.
The
achievable with the invention advantages are achieved by
that the connecting cable in the area of the swivel joint as a loop
is relocated. It is particularly advantageous if the loop
is arranged in a cable room.
In
In
a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention
the connection cable passes through an arcuate cutout
in the cable room. This is the path of movement of the cable
especially in the area of transition from the one
Part of the hinge free to the other. This will cause a kink
the connecting cable avoided. It is also beneficial if the
Entry area of the connecting cable as a tubular connecting piece
is formed, which in the arcuate cutout
is guided. This will cause the cable to drag
avoided the edges of the clipping. Furthermore
can the neck with the cutout as a rotation limit stop
cooperate, what other devices for limiting the angle of rotation
unnecessary. It is useful if the
Neck on a part of the swivel joint assigned to the upper body
is arranged. Especially if the nozzle is part of a
arranged on the bearing shell connector receptacle and / or an on
the bearing shell is fixed plug, is the cable and so
the end of the loop at one of the upper body associated
Part of the hinge fixed and can not perform relative movements, the
cause rubbing, kinking or the like.
If
from the arcuate cutout a mounting cutout
branches, this facilitates the insertion of the nozzle, in particular
if it is an integral part of the bearing shell.
vorgegebem Mindestradius bildet.It
is also advantageous if in the cable space a channel
is arranged, which receives a part of the loop. hereby
can the end of the loop which is led further into the ground unit,
being held. This reduces the friction in this area.
The length of the cable channel should be in an advantageous manner
Way between 30% and 50% of the length of the loop.
Thus, a sufficiently large freely movable remains
Remainder of the loop, which can compensate for the rotational movements.
If at the one channel end, from which the free rest of the loop
outlet, a deflection arc is arranged, so this is also advantageous.
This ensures that the connection cable with
a movement in a direction of rotation in which the loop ends themselves
approach each other, not kinks, but a bow with
vorgebem minimum radius forms.
Hierdurch
bleibt der gefährdete bewegliche Kabelabschnitt kurz.Of the
Cable space can conveniently on one of
Ground unit associated part of the rotary joint may be arranged.
Especially when he is on a forked channel component
is arranged, which is part of the swivel joint and the tilting joint
is and here best on the upper body facing away
Side of a bridge of the channel component, the two points are on
where the cable is fixed again, in close proximity. hereby
the endangered movable cable section remains short.

The in the 1 to 6 Upright vacuum cleaner shown in different views, hereafter briefly as Upright 1 denotes, consists essentially of a ground unit 2 , a torso 3 and a joint disposed therebetween, which will be described later.

Drehgelenk bezeichnet. The upright 1 can from an upright position (see 1 to 3 ), in which he is latched and then stands free, after releasing the locking (see 7 ) into a tilted ( 4 and 5 ) and so even in a fully extended position ( 6 ) to be brought. These are ground unit 2 and upper body 3 around a in use state horizontal axis X (see 5 ) mounted to each other pivotally. The joint, which allows the pivoting movement, is referred to below as a tilting joint. In addition, the upright in the tilted position, as well as in 5 shown rotated about an axis Y. By turning the upper body 3 by means of the device handle 4 around this axis and at the same time pushing or pulling the upright the user can view the ground unit 2 to control curves. The corresponding joint is referred to in the text as a hinge.
Die
Bodeneinheit 2, in 7 in Explosionsdarstellung
befestigt. Er bildet mit dem hinteren Gehäuseunterteil 6 unter
Zwischenlage einer Motorraumdichtung 10 einen Raum zur
Aufnahme eines Motorgebläses 11, welches den zum
Saugbetrieb notwendigen Unterdruck erzeugt.
Radmechanik 29 bzw. 30 in ihrer Lage verstellbar.
The ground unit 2 , in 7 shown in exploded view, comprises a housing, which through a housing insert 5 , a rear housing base 6 , a front housing base 7 , a bumper tape 8th and a lid part 9 is formed. The housing insert 5 acts as a carrier for a number of electrical and mechanical components, and the aforementioned housing parts are attached to it. It forms with the rear housing base 6 with the interposition of an engine compartment seal 10 a space for a motor blower 11 which generates the vacuum necessary for suction operation. On the suction side is around the blower inlet 12 around a sealing ring 13 arranged, which is also on the two aforementioned housing parts 5 and 6 supported. On the opposite side are rubber bumpers 14 inserted. For deep cleaning of carpets protrudes into the suction mouth 15 , an opening in the front housing lower part 7 and the bottom plate attached thereto 16 , a brush roll 17 , which on two lateral wings 18 and 19 is resiliently mounted and by means of a brush motor 20 over a belt 21 is driven. The parts 22 and 23 represent a two-piece belt cover. The brush motor 20 is also on the housing insert 5 attached, the wings 18 and 19 are stored there pivotally. The two housing bases 6 and 7 Wear the Upright's suspension, which consists of front casters 24 and 25 and rear wheels 26 and 27 is formed. To illuminate the track is on the housing insert 5 a circuit board 31 with LEDs 32 attached to the front through a lens 33 is covered. The lens 33 is in a recess 34 in the bumper 8th held.
aufnimmt. Der Filterrahmen 37 wird durch eine Gitteraufnahme 38 und
ein Gitter 39 im Deckelteil 9 verkleidet und ist
von dort auswechselbar. The engine fan 11 Air generated is through an opening 35 in the housing insert 5 and a corresponding opening 36 in the lid part 9 blown into the environment. In the opening 36 is a filter frame 37 used, which receives an exhaust filter, not shown, for cleaning the air blown out of ultrafine particles. The filter frame 37 is through a grille mount 38 and a grid 39 in the lid part 9 disguised and is interchangeable from there.
Sowohl
Both the tilt joint and the pivot between the ground unit 2 and the upper body described later 3 are formed by a rigid, fork-shaped channel component. This component also includes parts of the air duct from the suction mouth 15 to the upper body 3 and the airflow from the upper body 3 to the exhaust opening (openings 35 and 36 ). The component is hereafter referred to as a fork 40 designated and is in the 10 and 12 as a detail and in the 9 and 9a shown in the installation position. It consists of two plastic parts, an upper shell 41 and a lower shell 42 , which are connected by welding. To realize the tilting joint are the two ends 43 (right) and 44 (left) the fork 40 pivotable in recesses provided for this purpose 45 and 46 stored, to avoid abrasion, they are each of metallic bushings 47 and 48 surround. The left fork end in the direction of travel 44 is designed as a hollow and a seal 49 with the blower inlet 12 coupled. At the right fork end in the direction of travel 43 is a journal 50 formed. It also has an opening 51 which has an elastic hose 52 with the suction mouth 15 connected is. To tilt the upper body 3 the insight into the interior of the ground unit 2 to deny, is the connection area of the two fork ends 43 and 44 , hereinafter referred to as a fork bridge 53 designated by a front cover 54 and a rear cover 55 at the ground unit 2 surrounded by the pivoting movement of the fork 40 with execute. The space between the front and rear covers and the housing insert 5 is through aperture 56 and 57 bridged. At the left fork end 44 is the first 58 of two cable channels 58 and 59 attached. Furthermore, carry the fork ends 43 and 44 toothed segments 60 and 61 that with the wheel mechanics 29 and 30 interact. At the fork 53 is a panel cover 62 for a multi-core connection cable, not shown here 83 (please refer 17a to c) attached. To keep the upright in the upright position ( 1 to 3 ) to lock, is on the housing insert 5 a pedal 63 stored in this position in the left fork end 44 engages and thus the pivoting movement of the fork 40 prevented. By pushing down the lever 63 the locking position can be solved. In the locked position is also by two spring-loaded bolts 64 and 65 prevents a rotational movement. The air ducts through the fork ends 43 and 44 are formed in the area of the fork bridge 53 to a first section 66 a coaxial line combined.

dient. 8th shows the upper body 3 , also in exploded view. Carrying member of the upper body 3 is a back wall 67 , It forms the rear area of the dust chamber 68 , which in turn receives a filter bag, not shown in the drawing. The edge of the dust chamber 68 is from a seal 69 surrounded, laterally is a cover strip 70 for the connection cable, not shown here 83 (please refer 17 ) attached. In the lower area is on the back wall 67 a hinge bearing 71 attached. The dust room 68 goes forward through an upper housing part 72 completed, which has hinges 73 and torsion springs 74 swiveling on the hinge bearing 71 is articulated. The top 72 wears a lock 75 , a dust bag recording 76 and a filter change indicator 77 , It also disguises the hinge bearing 71 , In the upper area carries the back wall 67 the Electronic 78 of the Upright, which is completely on a picture 79 is arranged and can be mounted as a pre-tested component component. At the recording is about a torsion spring 80 a lever 81 for switching off the brush motor 20 arranged. It also provides the holder for the handle tube 82 with the device handle 4 , The Electronic 78 is through a cap 84 clad, which also for attachment to various controls and display elements and their accessories (visor 85 , Knob 86 ) serves.
das linke Gabelende 44 zum Motorgebläse 11.An elaborate air duct ensures that dirt-laden air can either be sucked in via the suction mouth in the floor unit or via a telescopic tube with possibly connected suction attachments such as crevice nozzle, furniture brush, upholstery nozzle, etc. For this, the suction air from the suction mouth 15 over the elastic hose 52 and the right fork end 43 through the inner tube of the first section 66 the coaxial line in the fork bridge 53 in the inner tube of a second section 87 passed the coaxial line. this section 87 will be in the back wall 67 continued and there again separated into two separate lines. The further air path leads through a Saugkanalstück 88 in a manifold 89 , In the manifold 89 is loose - and therefore removable - a telescopic tube 90 plugged, which has a pipe handle 91 in a flexible suction hose 92 passes. The suction hose 92 will be in a designated recording 93 held, as well as in 3 is recognizable. About a swing arch 94 The air enters a channel that extends the entire length of the back wall 67 extends. The channel is out of the back wall 67 itself and an attached air duct piece 95 educated. Subsequently, an arcuate neck leads 96 coming from the back wall 67 and partly from the electronics recording 79 exists, the dirt-laden suction air in the area of the dust bag receptacle 76 and there in a dust bag, not shown. After the suction air has flowed through the dust bag in the dust chamber and has been cleaned there of the dust, it passes through a motor protection filter - in the figure, only the frame 97 shown for holding the filter - in the outer ring of the second section 87 the coaxial line and from there through the first section 66 over the left fork end 44 to the engine fan 11 ,
In
In the 8th are also shown in the lower part of the components that are used for attachment and rotatable mounting of the upper body 3 at the fork 40 serve. The first paragraph 66 The coaxial line is powered by an injected metal ring 98 surrounded, which is the outer diameter of this section 66 surmounted and which in two cups 99 respectively. 100 is enclosed. The bearing shells 99 and 100 are with the upper body 3 connected. Thus form metal ring 98 and bearing shells 99 and 100 the swivel of the upright 1 , When connecting upper body 3 and fork 40 be the two sections 66 and 87 the coaxial line with the interposition of a seal 101 together.
Linie 102 dargestellt. In 9 is the engine fan 11 recognizable, which in the rear housing lower part 6 is inserted and from the housing insert 5 is covered. As already described above allows the engine compartment seal 10 due to their H-profile an airtight connection of these two parts. On the suction side is around the blower inlet 12 around the sealing ring 13 arranged, which is also on the two aforementioned housing parts 5 and 6 supported. The enlarged view in 9a shows that the case insert 5 in the area of the blower inlet 12 to a sleeve-shaped approach 501 is extended. As a result, joints of the two housing parts are avoided in this area. The right in the direction of travel (out of the drawing plane) fork end 43 (in the 9 shown on the left), as described above, designed as a journal and a metallic bushing 47 edged. It is absorbed by a closed bearing seat when assembling the rear housing base 6 through the recess 45 and a corresponding counterpart 103 of the housing insert 5 arises. In the 9 is also the opening 51 recognizable, in which the suction mouth 15 leading piece of tubing (s. 7 ) is plugged. The left fork end in the direction of travel 44 (in the 9 shown on the right) forms both the air flow from the upper body to the suction side of the blower 11 (Fan inlet 12 ) as well as the pivot point of the tilting joint. It is therefore made hollow and at the end with a seal 49 Mistake. The seal 49 is the approach 501 and ensures an airtight transition between blower 11 and fork end 44 , As a result, a high suction force can be achieved. The storage takes place as in the right fork end through a bearing bush 48 from a bearing seat (recesses 46 and 104 ) is recorded. The pivot axis X extends in the symmetry axis of the motor fan 11 she is as a dashed line 102 shown.
The 9 to 11 also show the fork bridge 52 in which are the two air ducts 105 and 106 from the fork ends 43 and 44 to a first section 66 a coaxial line. This is especially true in the 9 and 10 good to see. The air line 105 passing through the right fork end 43 is formed, as an inner tube 107 in the upper body 3 directed. This pipe 107 has a large flow cross-section, which the dirt-laden air and larger parts sucked in can easily pass. The administration 106 passing through the left fork end 44 formed in the fork bridge 53 the inner tube 107 and is called outer ring 108 in the upper body 3 guided. This is expedient because the transported air is already cleaned and therefore can be passed through this area with a smaller flow cross-section. Furthermore, in the 10 and 11 recognizable that the bridge on 53 his upper body 3 facing side is plate-shaped and a cutout 200. whose form and function will be discussed later.
The 12 to 16 show the transition area of the fork 40 to the upper body 3 in different representations. It goes without saying that the connection between the fork bridge 53 on the upper shell 41 and the back wall 67 only then takes place when the two assemblies ground unit 2 and upper body 3 are completely assembled. The outer tube 106 of the coaxial line section at the fork bridge 53 is, as already described above, of an injected metal ring 98 surrounded, the 10 shows the outer tube with the ring 98 in the installation situation. First, on the inner tube 105 and the outer ring 106 the coaxial seal 101 placed. Subsequently, a plug 109 with the part of the multi-core connection cable 83 (please refer 17 ), which leads to the electrical consumers in the ground unit, into a plug receptacle 110 on the upper bearing shell 99 engaged. Then the two cups are 99 and 100 by screws, not shown around the outer tube 106 and the metal ring 98 together to form a bearing housing 111 connected. In 12 it can be seen that on the plug receptacle 110 a semicircular pipe section 203 is formed. This forms with a pendant on the plug 109 a tubular neck 204 from which the connection cable 83 exit. The stub 204 is when connecting the top 99 and lower bearing shell 100 through the straight assembly cutout 201 over the metal ring 98 pushed and is located when the upper bearing shell 99 The ring 98 encloses, in the confluence of the mounting cutout 201 in the arched cutout 202 , He can then with the bearing housing 111 in the arched cutout 202 be turned in both directions by about 50 °, until it is at one of the two ends of the cut 202 strikes. Thus, the nozzle provides 204 together with the arched cutout 202 a swivel limiting stop. 13 shows the upper shell 41 - mentally this is the other components of the ground unit 2 to be completed - after the completion of these assembly steps. Due to its dimensions, the bearing housing 111 around the outer ring 106 or the metal ring 98 be turned around, thus resulting in a rotation axis Y, which in the 12 to 16 as a dashed line 112 is shown. The bridge forms 53 with the section 87 and the metal ring 98 that of the ground unit 2 associated part of the rotary joint. The bearing housing 111 This forms the upper body 3 associated part of the rotary joint.
Somit erfolgt
Teile. From the exploded view in 12 , the detail of a part of the back wall in 14 and the cuts in the 15 and 16 it can be seen that the coaxial line section 66 from the fork 40 (please refer 13 ) through a second section 87 in the back wall 67 will continue. Also there is an inner tube 113 from an outer ring 114 surround. The area around the section 87 is from a recording room 115 surrounded by the in 14 dashed wall shown 116 is produced. After the above-described assembly steps, the ground unit with the complete bearing housing 111 positively in the receiving space 115 used. The cuts, in particular 15 left, also show that the bearing housing 111 and the recording room 115 are conically shaped. As a result, a conical connection is created between these two parts, in which adjusts an interference fit. Such a compound is particularly suitable for absorbing the forces when tilting and turning the upper body 3 arise and over the fork 40 on the ground unit 2 be transmitted. Screws are used for additional securing of the connection. When inserting the bearing housing 111 in the recording room 115 comes the plug 109 with a connector housing 117 engaged. Thus takes place when joining ground unit 2 and upper body 3 both a mechanical and an electrical connection of these two parts.
The two inner tubes 107 and 113 and also the two outer rings 108 and 114 the coaxial line sections 66 and 87 are about the seal 101 interconnected, each having H-shaped cross-sections in both areas. The above-described storage is defined so that the distance between the ends of the outer rings 108 and 114 and the inner tubes 107 and 113 in the assembled state larger than the width of the arranged between the pipe ends webs 118 the H-seal 101 is. There by acting on the seal 101 no bearing forces. The two sections 66 and 87 Therefore, they can be freely rotated against each other, there is only a slight resistance by the contact forces of the sealing walls 119 , Due to the arrangement of the bearing housing 111 outside the air duct whose exposure to dirt from the suction air is excluded.
tropfenförmigen Umlenkbogen 210.The 17a to c show the fork 40 from below and here in particular the location of the connection cable 83 at different rotational positions of the bearing housing 111 , The cable 83 is fixed to both partners of the swivel joint, namely in the area of the upper body 3 on the bearing housing 111 - here is the plug 109 the fixed point - and in the area of the ground unit 2 by means of a cable clamp 205 at the bottom of the fork bridge 53 , The cable 83 occurs directly after the upper body-side fixed point (plug 109 ) from the tubular nozzle 204 in the arched cutout 202 one. From there to the clamp 205 it is as a loop in a cable room 206 relocated by an outside wall 207 on the underside of the fork bridge 53 is formed. An intermediate wall 208 shapes together with the outer wall 207 a channel 209 , which absorbs about 40% of the loop. At the end of the canal 209 is the cable 83 through the clamp 205 fixed. At the other end of the channel forms the intermediate wall 208 a drop-shaped deflection arc 210 ,
Will now the upper body 3 and thus the bearing housing 111 turned counterclockwise, see 17a , the loop extends elongated on the outer wall 207 , Turn clockwise to a neutral position, see 17b , the cable dissolves 83 at the end of the loop coming out of the neck 204 exit, from the outside wall 207 and is thereby more curved. Another rotation of the bearing housing 111 in the in 17c shown position amplifies the curvature and pulls the cable 83 over the bend 210 , As a result, a defined minimum curvature is specified and a kinking of the cable 83 prevented.
