The method involves automatically identifying weight, color and fabric structure of a movable textile by a dynamic load cell, a color sensor system and an image evaluation system. Data of the dynamic load cell, the color sensor system and the image evaluation system are compared with article specific data in a data set with a result of clear identification for articles for the purpose of counting and subsequent sorting. The fabric structure is detected by image evaluation under evaluation of different shade formations.
